Warnings. Please Read All Red Text. I'd like to go over some problems with the entire guild community before I take care of them. This is just going to be a quick look at a few problems I've been seeing! If you guy's see them too, or worse yet, are doing them. Please help me out and fix them or report them to me ^_^ Also If you've been noticing anything that really bugs you, feel free to say it constructively. Please mention the Item # and discuss it! If you think that the thread rules I have in the constitution are to strict, let me know! If you thinkpeople who post threads like 'HEY!' with the body of it being 'Omg, hi.' should have their thread's deleted, say so. This is a general discussion thread. 1. Thread Violations - In the rules, you are required to have a descriptive title. You can't go 'hey!' or 'did you know...' and start talking about some random Manga few people have even heard of. - Should I enforce the 'there must be three correctly spelled and informative sentences in the first post of all threads' rule? 2. Newbie Threads - Do you think these should not be allowed? or should be moved to the ChatterBox? 3. PageStreaching - Not so bad, but really. I have to edit at least 4-5 posts a day to stop page streaching. Do you guys think page streaching is a big deal? 4. Zero Post Users - Should They Be Banned? (I think yes, and unless a majority disagree's, in the next few days I'm going to ban all users with 0 posts) 5. Advertisements - Should posts be allowed when people come in, and there first post is 'come check out my site, here.' or 'join my contest here' or 'join my guild'? It seems counter productive to this guild, personally. But what do you guys think? - I would like to allow an exchange here however, where you can sell items, art, and fanfiction. What are your guys' thoughts on this? (It would be in the Arena, if I allowed it) 6. Anything else, Please, mention it! Even if you think it is a small insignificant problem, I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.

I think newbie threads should be allowed in the Chatterbox personally, and perhaps send warning PMs to zero posters to give them a chance before deleting them. I think the best way to figure out the best rules though would be to perhaps look around other large yaoi guilds and see what rules they have, perhaps that could give you some inspiration. smile

1. Thread Violations
Well...all I can think to say is that I always prefer to see a thread with more then 'OMG! -insert anime/manga title here- is sooooo good! Who agrees!?' as it's first topic. o.0
2. Newbie Threads
I think that they are ok...but I also think that the best place for them is definitally the Chatterbox, as they don't seem to promote much discussion other then "HI! Welcome!" Or some variation of the same thing.
3. PageStreaching I don't think it's all that big a deal, but I can see where it gets annoying...but then again page stretching itself is annoying, too. I'm not quite sure what your asking, about this. o.o
4. Zero Post Users Well, they should, but not right off the bat. I think that we should send out PMs to users who haven't made at least one post withen a week (or two, maybe? Is a week long enough?) after having entered into the guild. After sending out the 'One Week Warning' give them another week to make that first post, if not more then one. If they still haven't made a post after this second week...ban 'em. Seem fair?
Same thing can go for people who have been in the guild for maybe around a month and still only have that one post?
5. Advertisements
I think advertisments might be another thing for the chatterbox. I don't see anything really wrong with them, and don't really think that they're counter productive. I doubt that they would take people away from the guild, so to speak. It'll just give them a few more places to wander off to and check out if the mood strikes. XD
As for the exchange, it sounds like a good idea. Like a mini-market place thing. I'm all for it.

Thread Violations i would like to see threads with distinct topics like "[Gundam Wing] Odd pairings" than threads that seem like they're spazzing out.
Newbie Threads they should be in the chatter box in an introduction sticky so everyone posts in one area so we don't have 3 posts for every "Hi i'm new!" thread.
PageStreching as long as it's not 4+ quotes, i don't see a problem
Zero Post Users i agree with adnamac. we should let them know they're on the verge of being banned before actually doing it.
Advertisements if it's relevent to the guild then ads should be allowed, stuff like "check out my webpage" or "my guild is about yugioh yaoi, check it out" but none of the "i'm selling cat ears for 3k" stuff.

1. Thread Violations Usually those kind of threads are considered as spam topics, so I say that there should be a descriptive title along with some good details talking about the thread. If it's about a manga, then put some information about , then the rest of the members could expand their knowledge on yaoi and shounen-ai titles.
I think that you should enforce that three correctly spelled and informative sentences, because there may be threads in future that is extremely difficult to read and understand. Plus, it makes it easier for the other members to under stand what the thread is about.
2. Newbie Threads I say they should be in the Chatterbox or the introduction thread, either one is fine.
3. PageStretching Eh, page stretching sometimes annoy me, especially if it's a really big stretch. I don't really mind it, but it does say that page stretching isn't allowed in the rules and guidelines, I guess if it isn't major then it's fine. 4. Zero Post Users Well, I'm sure they have their reasons why they haven't posted in here yet, like they haven't notice they have been accepted and etc. I think giving them a fair warning that they have a certain amount of time that they need to post, if they haven't post within that time, they are banned? Then again, I'm sure there are many people who request to join everyday, so it could be a problem if they were to get accepted for a day and getting banned the next day just because a moderator could of mistaken them as someone that has been in the guild and haven't posted.
5. Advertisements Hmm, maybe make a thread for all advertisements? It could reduce the amount of advertising threads. It's your choice if you want to allow advertisement threads or not, I don't really care since I don't advertise.
That would be a cool idea, I think it would be nice and fun to have like a mini Gaia running around in here.

Bwhahaha, my logic has been supported! I'm trying to enforce new rules in the RP, picturepost, and Pocky Shop where you need to use 'tags' stating the series topic. =P gah, time for a shower~
