The day was still young, and RipTide still had a lot of work to do. He was studiously going over some plans he had created to make sure the Arena he was in charge of remained in working order and ready. His dark lean Tail swished about mindlessly as he took in the simple drawings. He had yet to learn how to write-which he had heard tale was starting to be a thing, for their tribe.
"Hm." The Tahtll mused to himself how helpful such a thing was going to be when he had other paws to help him. For now, as it was just him, his own scribbles he understood-were as for another it might look like pointless little lines. Hm, so it was easy to piece together if he was to make plans for others to understand as well-they would all need to learn this new thing of 'reading and writing' as the scribe described. that, and to get word to the 'Arena Master', it would be helpful as well. The piece of charcoal that floated about by his use of telekinesis, moved to his maw were it thoughtfully tapped at a curious muse. Did their Area Master, even know how to Read or Write?
A dark ear turned and twitched as RipTide heard a call of a unfamiliar voice. Was that from the Area? Turning his head curiously, RipTide shifted his large paws on the soft sand. His dark mass shifted from the cool shelter of a nearby Rock that over looked the Mirro te Weavia and capital. His Arena had been purposely set, but instruction, to be just outside the Water Capital's boarders.
The Tahtll couldn't help but wonder who might be calling for him, this would be the second time he would have some unexpected company. That was to say, it wasn't completely unexpected, the Arena Master did say that if the arena was built that b'alam would come.
"Greetings." Riptide answer as he made himself known from under the shadow of the large lush rock. His dark pelt made it very easy for him to blend into shadows and be easily missed at first glance.
"What brings you to the area?" The tahtll spoke pleasantly, as his head tilted a little out of curiosity.
