[HH MOB BATTLE] Candycorn Rumble

Upon entering the Haunted House, Kamakura wasn't sure what exactly to expect. He moved about, not finding and sort of creature lingering about initially as he wandered inside. He used his fire as a light source, and to be ready should something come out and attack him.

You just never knew really. If it was truly haunted, he imagined some sort of entity would be about.

It'd be fairly pointless otherwise no?

Still as he moved about there was seemingly nothing to be afraid or even remotely concerned about. Scowling the nekomata sighed as he waved his hand, putting his flame out so he could adjust to the dime light.

It was also an excuse to push his hands into his jacket pocket as he walked around.

Stopping after he'd done a bit of walking, he listened, trying to see if he could make out anything in the darkness. There came a strange sound, and as he looked up he could make out dim figures in the dark. They appeared to be like large floating candies of some sort.

Relighting his flames, he took careful aim and launched them at the creature intending to deal with it swiftly as it had lunged for him and attacked him once it realized he was there. He hissed at it, as he used his tail as a balance to move quickly into position.

Launching another barrage of fire, Kamakura was worried at this rate he'd be swarmed by the creatures. They seemed to clump together, and were beginning to lose their patience with the fire wielding fire-demon. Still he had to keep going if he had any hope of stopping them, and being able to get back to his normal daily routine.

At least that seemed to be the case anyway. Kamakura wasn't exactly sure why monstrous candy had come from the Haunted House, but this was certainly odd to say the least. Although this was the town of Halloween how could he forget. Stranger happened on a regular basis.

As more of them came swinging at his face, his hands shifted into a more clawed like state as he raked out at the passing by candy corn like creatures. This was beginning to get old he had to admit, and wanted this battle to be over with.

Still his opponent was relentless, more little ones joined in as he broke apart the creature here and there with fire and attacks from his clawing out at the thing.

Just as he tried to channel his fear, his worst fear was realized. The candy monsters came for him with vengeance. His battle shout that followed with the thrown fireball came up short, and missed completely as he was attacked. Screaming in defiance he swished and shoo'd at them trying to bat the creatures off as they overwhelmed him.

Kamakura still had the problem of being overrun by the little creatures and was having a hard time regaining his footing.

This was beginning to get ridiculous, and he wasn't entirely fond of being bitten at and head butted in various ways. Outrage showed as he struggled, the demon was ready to end this.

Snarling, he channeled another fireball. While he was beginning to get tired, he was not ready to admit defeat until his opponents biting jaws were no more. He'd noticed how the bigger one seemed to be his main focus. He aimed his attacks towards it in order to bring down his foe.

A small smile lined his features, the thrill of the battle at hand was a rush. With each time he fought he felt like he gained just that much more experience on how to better handle himself in battle.

The demon rolled his shoulders as he regarded his foe.

Anger boiled over as suddenly the demon engulfed himself in flames. Even if the pain of the fire tore through his body, he snarled feral-like as he raised his hand and launched a deadly barrage of fire that came spiraling off of him. It took every last ounce of him as he all but incinerated the creature. He was tired of playing games.

Ignoring the burns on his hands and arms, he panted softly as he stood up then and rubbed his shoulder. It hadn't been easy, but he had at last managed to finish the thing off before it took him out. Blinking tiredly he shivered as he sighed.

As if to add insult to injury, when he checked to see if the mob perhaps had anything on it he discovered that of course was not the case. There was nothing but a blackened charred husk for remains. Oh well.
