For some reason, the skeleton boil found himself idling by the horseman sanctuary. Or at least, what was left of it. Once upon a time, the horsemen had resided in what many called the Lost Clans Reserve, an area designated for the then-homeless horsemen that remained from whatever fieldtrip the town had orchestrated, but now it was quite empty. Could it even still be called a reserve at this point? From what TK had heard, most, if not all, of the horsemen now lived in some tower of their own making. With that in mind, there was little reason for the clans to visit Amity and the rest of Halloween. They could probably continue to reap FEAR and indiscriminately kill humans at their own discretion without Halloween creatures butting in. Wasn’t that beneficial?

And yet, sometimes they still visited the town. He could see them poking their heads into a handful of classes. During festivals and tournaments he could pick out a few from the crowd, and he wondered if it was for leisure or for something else entirely. The thought made him curious enough to try and approach the old reserve.

Would he manage to find a horseman he could observe? Maybe even converse with?

Would they even be willing to stop and have idle chatter? He didn’t know, but TK supposed he would linger for a while longer.

Iyari had come to adopt a new way of thinking. For reasons she couldn't remember she had shut herself away in her room, but now made herself go out on occasion. Mostly it was to places in Amityville or in the Human world to gather more fear. She was obsessed with honing her skills against real participants rather than the usual puppets she would beat mercilessly.

Perhaps it was that urge that guided her outside of the tower then. Iyari was used to the other Clans now, as they were a single tribe now she had grown accustomed to their faces even if names escaped her.

You don't belong.

She had stopped to stare at a Halloween student who had wandered away from his herd and she looked at him from afar with her bright green eyes focused on him. It wasn't usual by any definitions of the word and the War mare was going to get to the bottom of it. Even if she had to be a little rough.

Quickly she crossed the distance between them. "Who are you?" She said, staring into his face with an intense look. It was the best hello she could give, really.

A few horsemen did indeed walk out of the tower, but only a small percentage of them actually bothered to look in his direction. For the rest, it was like TK was thin air despite his towering stature. It was an unusual attitude that he still needed to adapt to, but he took it in stride anyways.

He felt a sudden chill run down his spine when he felt a pair of eyes lock onto him. Calmly, slowly, the boil turned toward the direction the voice had come from. As TK expected, the horseman looking at him didn’t look friendly in the slightest, but at least she didn’t look ready to kill him on sight. Probably.

“Oh, I happened to be in the area and decided to look around for a bit,” he began with a polite smile, “I hope I am not causing you much trouble with it.” He wanted to elaborate further, perhaps broach the topic of learning about the clans more, but he also didn’t want to take up the stranger’s time if she had some tasks or chores to finish.

Despite the fact he was taller than her, her presence was intense as she stared at him. Something about his polite smile irritated her, but she couldn't place exactly what that was about. There was a rustle in her wings and she looked at him with an accusing gaze.

Which slowly shifted to a challenging smirk.

"Look, you say." She stared at him. "Prove your intentions." Iyari said, calling forth her kopis blade and pointed it at him. The mare had been so bored lately, this felt like a good way to combat that. Her bright eyes stared into his. "I'm not patient. Will you prove it or not?"

Factually, TK knew that horsemen were generally not welcoming. He knew this, but it was another thing altogether to experience it personally. Her gaze was intimidating, but he tried not to let it best him. The boil kept his posture straight and normal, his smile polite and pleasant. What he did not expect, however, was the horseman’s suddenly demand for him to prove his intentions.

To put it bluntly, she wanted a fight.

The proposition rattled his bones at first. He wasn’t a fighter to begin with, but if need be he could manage somehow. Gold eyes narrowed and eyed her attire; it looked like she hailed from war, was it? That wasn’t too surprising, he guessed.

A pause with his lips pressed together. “Very well.” TK rolled up the sleeves of his jacket, taking his sweet time until he kicked up a stray branch and tossed it at her like a spear.

At the narrow of his eyes she gave him another smirk, watching the skeleton carefully as his demeanor shifted slightly. She didn't expect a stick of all things... Iyari felt it scratch at her as it hit and her eyes lit up like a fire inside, and she swung at him.

He was faster than she thought too. Good. Iyari grinned for a moment before hopping away from him, staying low in her stance and stared him down.

These were most definitely not clothes a creature should be fighting in, but did TK have any other choice. A frown as she moved like the makeshift spear didn’t faze her in the slightest. She surged forward, swinging at his neck before suddenly retreating backwards. How surprisingly cautious.

TK merely lunged out, using efficient movements to kick her in the chest.

Iyari smirked again, but felt the new blow and rolled away from him, standing and staring back as she flapped her wings. They led her to dive into him with her sword out, stabbing at him. While she missed anything vital - or what might be vital on a skeleton - she did feel herself hit something and that was good enough.

Though she hadn't anticipated to have him react as he did, and with such speeds as he did. It was a happy little surprise that fed into her drive to fight. And she was learning about those of Halloween too. Interesting technique. Her eyes studied him carefully. But she was enjoying herself.

There was a brief pang of pain when the horseman stabbed her blade into his stomach, but after that there wasn't much sensation. TK was only a skeleton, after all. His face only showed a flash of discomfort before he grabbed her blade. His eyes glowed brighter as he pulled it out and roughly pushed it into Iyari's side--a quick, smooth motion.

Then he jumped back.
