There was a simple notice on the boards for a new class. No flashy colors or pictures, only the words in giant bold letters:
"NEW DEFENSE CLASS: 8PM IN THE FORBIDDEN FOREST."
That was all well and good, except for the rule that strictly forbid students from wandering in the forest on their own (despite how frequently the students ignored it). Still, a class was a class, even if it meant a little dangerous walking.
The forest had no clear paths, but someone had tacked up giant red arrows pointing in one direction every yard or so, to lead the way. The forest itself grew darker the further they walked in, but this should have been expected; the Forbidden Forest was named as such for a reason.
The last red arrow led not forward, but up. Following the direction of the arrow exposed a giant, intricate spiderweb several feet up in the air.
The only way to get to it was to climb the trees (or fly, of course). But who would willingly crawl into a spider web? Let alone an entire class? Sure, it looked big enough, but would something that delicate really hold up that much weight?
(Spoiler: It can, and would. The web was unbreakable, and any who try would find themselves disappointed.)
The trick, of course, would be getting up there.
Quote: Your professor, an assistant teacher and returning alumni, is nowhere to be seen; however it's clear that class will be held on top of the giant spider web. It's big enough and strong enough to hold as many students as we get, and flying students get a distinct advantage (for now) as they can get up there with ease. Otherwise, climb up one of the trees attached to the web, and make yourselves comfortable. It's slightly bouncy, like a hard, unyielding trampoline, and will not break no matter what you do. Though, it doesn't seem smart to vibrate a spider web too much, does it... (Updates are posted at least once a day, my PMs are always open for questions, and yes, there will be a special gift for participants at the end of this class.. don't miss out!) Students, Alumni, Horsemen, other teachers/NPCs, and Hunters (in Golems) are all welcome to join this class! The web has room for all! (please note hunters can't get the reward at the end though, but are welcome to come for fun XD) edit: You're allowed to bring up to two characters but please note only one will be able to receive the reward at the end <3

Mellow swore Amityville was the weirdest school he would ever have attended. Forest, yes, he loved forest but didn't they see the word "forbidden" there?! The demon was not allowed to skip classes anymore, two years passed and he was still first year was too suspicious not to doubt. What's more, the spies that his mother sent, thinking of that, he looked around while walking into the forest.
The bright red big arrows were sure what he should follow, at least it wasn't somewhat "follow the spiders" and ended up in a trap thing. "Are you kidding....?" He muttered, stared at the last one while a table was flipped in his mind space already even he looked so coldly calm.
He looked skyward and saw some creeple on the giant web and sighed. It seemed that it wasn't a joke, he merely hoped the teacher's gender would be male. He paid hard to no gods particularly. After last experience at Miasma Village, he fully understood he can't climb a jacking tree. Thus he cheated.
Peeking around to make sure no one was watching, the boil turned into a miniature pony in tea green. It didn't have wings and it was small, but it could float. The tree wasn't as tall as the mountain last time so he could do it. Slowly upward, the pony moved in progress as the others used their ways to climb up. It was so relaxed, cozy as it raised up slowly, the views were great.
The pony touched the web filament with one hoof, he was glad it wasn't sticky and didn't look like a trap at all. It landed gingerly still and when nobody was looking at his way, the pony mistified and reformed, a boil was there instead.

AJ seldom skip classes, it was another great chance for entertainment and excitement for him. He was extremely delightful for the legit reason to enter the Forbidden Forest. He arrived much earlier and loitered around the dark forest that the warm pumpkin sunlight all blocked by the dense canopy of tree crowns.
Thirty minutes before the class started, they followed the red arrows they noticed since the entrance while sharing some modified spookies with the tail head. The sky was getting dark but it wasn't scary. "Ah, a spiderweb. Who's that creative? A new teacher?" He smirked, talked to himself.
Watching a winged student flew up easily with a cold expression, his hands partially switched into draconic claws. He learned to control his shapeshifting ability better, the claws dug into the barks as he hopped up, it felt like running on a horizontal plane. Not taking long, he landed on the intricate web with a few of mild bounces gracefully. He used to climb things a lot, to dodge and trick his enemies, like a parkour practitioner.
He walked towards other students with a gentle smile, "Class hasn't started yet? Anyone see the teacher?" Sweet sugary scents wafted slowly from his side.
Quote: Anyone can talk to AJ biggrin
