It had been a few weeks since the last round of blind dates, but after the roaring success he had experienced he was eager to jump back into them. There was the possibility that he might find a terrible match, but it was a risk he was willing to take so long as the possibility of finding friends (or even love). This time around he wanted to keep things even more of a surprise: while Armin could look at the photo, he forbade the man from giving him any details other than the individual's pronouns and name. It wasn't as if their appearance made much of a difference to him. Well, perhaps if they were adorned in anti-vampire paraphernalia, that would be a definite no.
"Armin, do you think, perchance, I should switch my attire up a trifle? I doubt everyone I meet is interested in the antique look." Armin smirked, "your father sent along a parcel for just such an occasion. I am sure he will be most pleased to see it used so soon." Pëllumb stared at Armin, or at least his approximate location. "Do you keep in regular correspondence with him? Am I the only one who is out of the loop?"
"We converse once per week. To make sure my supply is efficient."
"Of course, it could be for only that reason." Armin merely shrugged and let it go at that. "Well then, is it pressed and ready? I would hate to be late."
Armin smiled, "yes my lord, everything is ready. You have plenty of time as well, I assure you."
Pëllumb shook his head and sighed before heading upstairs to get ready. For a brief second he considered applying an aftershave, but thought better of it. His sense of smell could be sensitive, and that might be the case for Ms. Basu as well. It would be horribly rude of him to put her in such an uncomfortable situation. Instead he made sure to present as neutrally though naturally as he could. Though the specific color of the suit eluded him, he could tell it was pale and was a trifle afraid it would blend in with him, but he trusted his father to know fashion well enough to not steer him wrong. It was a more modern look than he was used to, but maybe that was the sort of change he needed.
Once the time drew near, Armin drove him once more to the bed and breakfast and dropped him off a good fifteen minutes early. Pëllumb would wait by the door so that he might escort the young woman inside. It was a move that had worked well before.

tab tab tab It's only been a day since her third tattoo's first session so she's a bit sore and sensitive on her upper back area but that won't stop her from attending to her blind date. Carefully washing up herself in the shower while keeping the ink job dry and wrapped up well in plastic. Wrapping her hair in a towel, in only a bra and panties she treats herself to a quick breakfast of her special 'saffron pilaf' with butter. After she finds herself in her well-extended closet, picking out her outfit for the day. In a flowing dress mood again, she has decided to go with a traditional angarkha gown with a lovely design. Some national pride in her, wanting to show off her culture.
tab tab tab Once she was ready, she looked up the date place's location on the map app for directions because she has never been there before; she is still relatively new here. Stepping out and locks her door before heading to her driveway. After the other day, she realised she may not own a car but she sure can rent one for the time being. She got herself a black Fiat 500, not the best choice but it'll do. With GPS voicing their opinion and giving her verbal directions to the hotel? Is this place a hotel? No..it's smaller than one.. but it does look cute though.
tab tab tab After parking her car she heads on towards the main building first, The clicks of her small heal against the stone pathways while she semi-frantically looks around, having no clue who to really look for of her date. Approaching the building she noticed a.. very well dressed; perhaps a little overdressed. Though she doesn't really have a foot to stand on since she too is one to dress lavishly even for mundane reasons. He was just standing there... menecingly. Making her way over to him till she was a few feet from him. Quickly looking down at her phone where she had the name of her date typed down, the problem is she has no idea how to pronounce it. "Excuse me sir, are you by any chance..." She takes another look at the spelling. "Pëll...umb?" She really hopes she said it right, if he was her date, this is not a good first impression.. mispronouncing their own name.

He never thought for a moment waiting outside might be creepy, though if it had been pointed out to him he would be most ashamed. Eventually he heard the signature click of high heels approaching him along the sidewalk. The sound of the heels stopped a few feet away, and though he should have been working to figure out exactly where she was, he didn’t want to start randomly clicking the moment they met. Her voice told him approximately where her mouth was, at least in regards to distance away and height comparison, so when he went to respond, he aimed his hidden gaze where he thought her eyes would be. ”Pëllumb Gjoni [[pronounced: Paylahm Dgoni]] at your service, mademoiselle. You must be Ms. Avantika Basu. ’Tis a pleasure to meet you.” He offered his hand, though whether she intended to shake hands or allow him to kiss her hand like a proper gentleman he would have to wait and see. ”I apologize if my waiting outside threw you off. I thought it only proper that I wait so that I might escort you inside. Speaking of, shall we adjourn to the dining room proper?” Once she was ready, he would offer his arm for her to take if she so desired. Click. He kept pace with her until he neared a door, Click then he moved just a little ahead so that he might open it for her. Click. He followed along directly behind her through the door then caught up with a couple long strides. Click. ”Is there anywhere in particular you would care to sit? I am entirely open to your preference.” That and from this distance he could not tell which tables were occupied and which were not, and he’d be damned if he was going to walk around obviously taken tables until he found one where he did not perceive anyone. For all he knew, she may not have yet caught on to his ocular difficulties, and though it almost seemed like lying, he wanted to delay this discovery as long as he could. It stroked his pride to know that at least for short stints he could pass as sighted. Well, sighted but with a strange tic which may have been worse.

 Seth looked around at the beach as he walked onto it. It looked very different from the warm summer days they had had. Because of the cold, the beach itself was nearly deserted. The water magi noticed as much as he passed it to get to Amour de La Mer. He had signed up on a whim, not even sure why he was even considering it all now. So far it had been the furthest from his mind, relationships, love and having a partner because he was very busy with his music. Still, the idea of a companion to share your life with, finding someone you love and who loves you back, Seth was actually starting to wonder about all that. Perhaps it was because he saw it all around him with his friends too. The young man sighed a bit, still a little nervous about it. He didn’t know the man he was meeting after all. Still, he played music for entire halls of strangers, this shouldn’t be much ‘scarier’ would it? Seth looked ahead of him again as he turned towards Amour de La Mer. He wasn’t unfamiliar with the Bed and Breakfast, he had actually been here once before during one of his tours. It still looked every bit as imposing as his first time here, in a good way. He knew from experience this was a great place to stay a few nights. A small smile played over his lips as he stopped in front and checked if everything was in order. His manager wasn’t thrilled about Seth looking towards more in life, but if he had to, then the young man should stylishly. Or that had been the manager’s words. The water magi rolled his eyes a bit as he remembered those words but checked nonetheless. He was wearing black jeans and sneakers with a white shirt on top over which he had put a light grey hoodie that had the image on it of a dolphin under his denim jacket. No matter what he did, the element of water always came back in his look. It wasn't super classy, but he was told that a suit was not necessary and to just dress in usual outfits. With his last check finished, the magi took a deep breath and exhaled before he walked in to look for the one he was meeting today. And it wasn’t like he went in expecting to find his new partner for life. He would be happy already if they got along well. “Ahh.., you can’t take that into the pool area.”
“Don’t be such a buzzkill, Daria.” With a Cherry Moon in her hand, Reira strode her pretty self down from the hotel’s bar to the exclusive indoor pool for some time to relax. Today was the day of her blind date, but that didn’t mean that she couldn’t pamper herself a bit. Girl work a couple weeks, so why not play a little? Once inside, she found that the place was completely empty. b***h Smirking at the thought of the bartender who had been nagging about the alcohol, the succubus made her way to the free warm and bubbly jacuzzi. Her cherry red painted toes dipped underneath the water as she scrolled through her phone. Her Cherry Moon off to the side as she combed through the local dating app.
If anyone asked why a little minx like hers needed help from a blind date, Reira knew that she could say it was for love. But that would be a lie. She was a little bit bored with the usual club-meet up and then hook-ups. This could really bring a little spice for a one-night thing. However, messages from Timo (her blind date) were a little coy and she couldn’t help herself but be more interested in him. Especially after he revealed that he was from Finland and he was a trainer at Fiddle’s. So a blond-haired blue eyed cutie with an accent. She just hoped he didn’t die tonight from all the excitement they were going to have.
