The days following after Settimo Accardi sold his FEAR Amps came with no trouble (unless the students managed to find it on their own). Perhaps they have used its power by now, or perhaps not. Either way, it mattered not. They would still feel the urge to keep it on regardless. Then, one night, they would a different sort of calling. There were no words, just an incredibly strong sensation. The desire to to head into town. More specifically, the compelling suggestion to head to the Fountain of Jack. There is no particular reason why. Perhaps it just feels like a good idea.
In the back of their minds, perhaps they knew that someone would be waiting for them there.
However, upon arrival, there seemed to be no one in particular at the fountain, except any other students that had felt the same exact calling.
OOC Going to give everyone some time to gather up and mingle a bit. Small things might happen, but things will be moving forward either monday night or tuesday.

Hollandaise often spent many nights out of doors - she loved to sleep in trees or in the soft, cool loam underneath them. Tonight, however, she'd found it difficult to sleep, the humid air stealing over her like an unwanted blanket. Aimlessly, she walked, feeling the soil turn to road and stone under her toes. Hollandaise didn't know why she had come here, but it seemed the right place to be - but, ah! Someone was already there: two someones.
She slid into a spot of darkness near the fountain, feet making no sound as she moved. She did not say anything, but merely watched the two unknown boils from the shadows: two yellow eyes gleaming slightly in the dark.

It had been a while since he brought the bracelet, which the merchant claimed as a FEAR amp. He didn't really care of its effect, it was more of a fun stylish accessory for him. The silver shinning like his hair as well as the tail head's forehead scales was favourable, he put it on and went on with his days.
Midnight snacks sound like a normal thing among the teens, for AJ, it was a bit different. He baked and then ate the products at midnight. That night, he baked big bowls of popcorn, different flavours and carried out tasting with the Head, maybe watched a movie. He didn't sit steadily, his heart was hanging and his mind in an unknown tumult. The need to get out was incredibly strong, manipulating.
AJ let his body moved freely, brought him to whatever place it wanted to go. "AJ?" The head yawned and woke up from the nap. "Bro, something fun is happening, we're on an adventure." The serpent-dragon announced with a tad of excitement in his words.
He went into the town, weirdly, it was so quiet that night. In normal days, shops with pumpkin lanterns would lit the roads and creeple would be wandering around the night market. However, it was silent, on his way to somewhere, he didn't meet anyone. AJ realized himself moved deeper into the heart of the town, where the Fountain of Jack located.
Then, he stopped.
Seeing other faces, he smiled. "Are we all gathered for a special night party?" AJ knew the answer, it was more like they were summoned for a mysterious ritual. On his arm, a large bucket of colorful popcorns that emitted a great mixed sweet scent. "Hey Andrew, want some?" He said the flame demon.
phantompanther13 Andrew can grab some popcorns.

Not long after the students began to gather, a different figure came into view. A short female mummy of sorts. Notably, she had a golden FEAR amp dangling from her wrist. She took a moment to look over the group, then smiled faintly.
"You must be the ones. Come along now. It wouldn't do to keep her waiting," the undead stated, motioning for the students to follow along.
Another subtle suggestion entered their minds came to heed her words. It wasn't nearly as strong as the compulsion to come to the fountain. Instead, it was more of a light nudge.
The mummy moved on through the city streets to the train station.
"Don't worry. We'll be back here soon enough. Just... a little field trip, you could say. Hop aboard. We're several stops away. Everything will be explained to you soon enough, but you should be glad for this opportunity anyway. Not every day you get an opportunity like the one you're about to get."
The trainride itself didn't seem to take that long, though once they were off, it was clear they were a fair distance from Halloween town. The air here was much more arid, and the temperature was rather cool. Sand sifted on the ground below. On one side of the train station, a vast desert could be seen under the night sky. On the other, the town. Dry decrepit buildings rose over the cracked earth. For those who looked carefully, they might have spotted a certain emblem in various places. On the sides of some buildings, and the like. A few denizens of the place were milling about, but there weren't too many around currently.
"Akhenaten. Not the best place to be during the day if you can't handle the heat. Just a little further now."
OOC If you have not posted yet, you can still jump in at any time. Just say your character was always there. This is just a small transition in the meantime. The next bit should come tomorrow night.

Being that Mathias was a nocturnal creature, it was not at all rare to see him out and about on the Amity grounds long into the evenings and sometimes into the early hours of the morning. What he didn't usually do, however, was leave those grounds to head into town. He had no desire to explore, or to go on an adventure of any sort. Yet tonight, there he was, following some inexplicable urge, and when he got there, keeping to the shadows, watching the others who were gathered around but not participating, only thinking that this was quite silly and that he should leave.
Except he didn't. It was like he couldn't.
When the small mummy ghoul arrived, he instinctively looked down away from her, to stare at the ground. However, her words called to him, and he frowned, giving his head a shake. It was not unlike the times when he found himself compelled to do anything a ghoul told him to, but in those cases, eye contact was generally necessary. This was not quite the same, but similar enough that he had alarm bells ringing in his head.
And yet he still followed, just like everybody else. It was curiosity, plain and simple, and....
Wait, was that Holly??
He somehow had not spotted her before, and his ears twitched in agitation while the feathers of his wings ruffled up slightly. He did not say anything to her at first, simply going along with the crowd and boarding the train, but eventually, he turned towards her.
"Vut are you doing here?" he hissed. "Should be back at school, sleeping."
Never mind that he should not have been there either.

Cearney wasn't dumb. He didn't recognize this ghoul from the academy, and to be frank, why would he ever follow an undead?
Despite shuddering at the thought, in the end, Cearney still felt like he should follow along, despite this ghoul being a mummy, and despite the fact that going in random "field trips" on trains this late at night was probably unwise. And so, without a verbal question, Cearney followed along behind the others.
When they arrived at a desert, Cearney had to wonder why they had come all the way out here. There didn't seem to be much out there.
Cearney squinted. Well, there was a small town that way. It didn't seem like too many were out, but there were still some creeple out and about. Why did anyone want to be in such a dry place? The buildings seemed just as dry as this desert was.
... What was with all those ankh?

Hollandaise moved forward, her feet somehow following the mummy ghoul, though she did not know why. It just seemed... as though she should. She wondered briefly who 'she' was. A field trip, an opportunity - but where normally Hollandaise would have questioned, she did not. Slowly, she entered the train.
And was jarred out of her sort of half-thoughts when Matty spoke. Hollandaise startled, her eyes rising to look at him, then, hurriedly, to look down. He didn't like eye contact, she remembered. "Why are you here - you should be asleep, too. I could not sleep and wandered in the forest and more until I came here..." Hollandaise tilted her head, staring at the bracelet on Matty's wrist. Then, she realized there was another ghoul nearby, one with a piercing stare. Hollandaise felt no qualms about looking at this person, so she raised her eyes and stared back, unblinking.
"Why do you ask," she said suspiciously. "-are you going to set me aflame?" Hollandaise had completely missed the small mummy's mention of heated days.
