Just had Surgery...

Don't worry it isn't anything severe, just had my wisdom teeth taken out the other day.

But I just woke up to some hiccups and OH BOY do they hurt! >n<

Took some pain killers, but I won't be able to go back to bed...

What do you girls recommend to distract from the pain? u.u

Aww, I'm sorry! I had to have my baby molars taken out many years ago, and the pain was hellish...but I'm a big baby when it comes to my teeth. XD So I sympathize with your pain.

If its a pain I have to tolerate without meds/am waiting for them to kick in, then I typically go for a comedy, a movie or a show that makes me laugh and distract me from obsessing over the pain. Should that fail, I'll always go for a game that keeps my mind completely engaged.

Did they not give you painkillers? I have to have my own wisdom teeth checked, not sure if they have to be removed yet...but now I'm not at all looking forward to it. <<' Seems all I ever hear is horror stories.

When I had mine removed, I nibbled on very thin slices of ham and jello. as long as you don't suck it down, it's rather soothing.
