Cécile held his breath as he pushed open the door to his new home. It swung open slowly, it's hinges almost silent, a small blessing for which he was grateful for. The blonde haired boy peered inside, releasing that held breath when he saw three empty beds. No one was here, wonderful. Cécile even managed a small smile before a coughing fit shook him. Wiping his mouth on the back of his hand, he peered behind him into the common room to see if anyone heard him. All clear. It seemed that every one was in class.
Cécile gripped the wheels of his chair and pushed himself into the room, carefully closing the door behind him. Once enveloped in the silence of the room, he sighed with relief, leaned his head back and closed his eyes. It had already been a long morning. He felt as though it had been days since he'd arrived, not only an hour or so. His arms hurt from pushing himself around the school, following his guide as he was given the grand tour. The campus was beautiful, stunning even, but right now, all Cécile could remember were the looks he had gotten from the students they had passed. He was tired of pity, tired of assistance, of doctors and limitations. That was why he was here in the first place. To prove that he was just as good as any able-bodied young trainer.
While thankful for the silence, Cécile's good-byes from his foster parents had left him feeling lonely and so, with the push of a button and a flash of bright red, there Angel was smiling at him from the red rug that softened the floor beside his bed. "Raal?" She cooed, resting a soft hand on his, "Thank you, I'm fine," the Ralts blinked up at him, "Ral." Cécile gave her a little smile, rubbing the back of his head, "I was just feeling a little lonely. It's a big place, new too." Angel shook her head and smiled as she walked around to the back of his chair and unhooking his suitcase. Together, trainer and Pokémon began to settle in, putting away clothes in the chest at the foot of the bed, organizing medicine on his night stand, spare shoes under the bed, books on the desk. By the end of it, both were feeling much better, although quite sleepy. Cécile coughed again, as Angel pushed his chair into a spot between the bed and the desk. "How about a nap, Angel? Come here," He patted the bed and she soon hopped up, curling against him. School wouldn't be out for a few hours yet, but he had a doctor's note and, for this last time, was going to make the most of it.
As the day stretched on, the sun crept up, seeping in through the light curtains and illuminating the peaceful face of a sleeping boy. With his covers tucked up tight to his chin, the Pokémon beneath was nothing more than a small lump that shifted ever so slightly as she breathed in tandem with her partner. Comfortable and warm, the two could stay like that forever, if not for the tolling of the bell that echoed throughout the campus.
Cécile's large golden eyes blinked open, his vision bleary. "Wha...?" He murmured, looking around, confused. This wasn't his pillow, his bed. He slowly sat up, holding a hand to his head as his memory began to wake up too. "Oh, right. School. Okay." He nodded and peeked under the covers at his sleeping Angel. "Angel, dear, school is out. Want to go for a ride?" The little psychic type blinked her red eyes open and gave a cute little lady's yawn before nodding with a smile.
With Angel's assistance, a few minutes later shoes were laced, his backpack secured, and his rump properly seated back into his chair. Cécile breathed in deeply and exhaled slowly. He was feeling better after that nap. Still lost, out of place, but now, a little bit of excitement was beginning to brew inside him. This was it! This was the place where he would learn to be a trainer! "Let's go have a look around." He said aloud, reaching around Angel who was seated comfortably in his lap and opening the door. Where he would go, he didn't know. Just explore the grounds a bit before it got too late. Yeah, that sounded fun.

xxxxCécile ✚ Engardéxxxx ▌dorm▐ ▌angel▐ ▌hungry and nervous▐
Cécile woke much earlier than usual that morning. His stomach was all knots, churning with excitement, nervousness, and anxiety. And so, for a few very long minutes, he stayed in his bed, curled up against Angel and listened to the night sounds of the room. Besides Angel and himself, he could hear the other occupant of the room breathing slowly. Eventually, Angel stirred next to him and opened her ruby eyes, "Ralll~" She yawned softly, covering her tiny mouth with an even tinier hand. Cécile put a finger to his lips and she quieted instantly. Together, they snuck out of the room as quietly as possible, grabbing his clothes for the day and went to shower.
While he was beyond thankful for Angel's help, there were some things that he wouldn't allow her to assist with. Showering and putting on his boxers were two of those such things. And so, with some struggle and a patiently waiting Ralts, the blonde haired boy closed the door to the bathroom behind him all dressed and ready for gym. "Horray.. Gym class..." He groaned quietly and his stomach gurgled in response, "Breakfast first, though. Let's get going, Angel." "Ral!"

Nirav reached his dorm undisturbed by others, a blessing in his books. The boy threw his stuff down on his bed. It had a colorful, yet slightly tattered and worn look to it. Some of the edges had been sewn back together several times. It was the same quilt and sheets that he had been using on his bed back at home, the ones his mother and aunt had sewn when Nirav was little. He helped contribute to fixing it whenever it began to fray. He took a few moments to simply sit and breathe, finally having space to himself. A few photos were taped up to the walls, photos of his family and home. A postcard sat with them, showing a beautiful photo of the Sevii Islands where he grew up. Nirav sighed longingly, gazing at the postcard with saddened eyes. He greatly missed home.
Taking a breath and wiping some sightly teary eyes, Nirav looked through his rather bare closet and pulled out a bag he used to carry his things when he saw family on some of the other islands. Like a lot of the things he had, it was worn and tattered, with some colorful patches of canvas at the bottom keeping the whole thing together. He shoved in some clothes, toiletries, and a jacket, in case it was cold wherever they were going. The text said something about the Lamia Residential District, but Nirav honestly didn't have a single clue where that was. His bag was pretty light; it was only going to be two days. His library books were going to stay on his bed. The last thing he wanted to happen was losing them on the trip. Nirav sat down once more, beside his pokemon, stroking its fur. "Maybe we'll look at some evolution books in the library when we get back." He did make a promise to his pokemon, and this trip was derailing that fast. Raja mewed happily, eager to start thinking about what he was to become one day. "Alright, we should get going soon... Shouldn't we..." He wasn't looking forward to leaving the silence and familiarity of his room. But with a small sigh and last glance at the postcard on the wall, Nirav left with Raja and started for the train station.
