DEUS EX MACHINA PERSONNEL FORM
The Hunter Name: Creedence Kramer Nicknames: bunches of them, but it's not like she's handing them out Gender: Female Age: 17
Category: The categories of Hunter are:
Death - The "intelligence" operation, in charge of gathering information and maintaining the network of Hunters. They gather the information prior to a mission.
The Weapon
Name: Evanessa Vespera Nicknames: Countess Bloodtide Type of Weapon: Fantasy esque rogue/thief dagger. Should not be too fancy (it's a starter weapon ~ !) red leather or ribbon wrapping the hilt, possibly red beads hanging down? Former species of weapon: Vampire Gender: Female
Personalities:
Creedence The middle sibling among 5 others, Creed preferred to be a bit overlooked and make shitty comments from the sideline rather than try and standout. Call it sass or sarcasm or snark or just a*****e tendancy, but that's her default mode. This is part personal armour and part genuine belief that to be truly cool you should s**t talk your peers and nice guys really do finish last. (They just don't know it yet.) It's hard for her to interact with people without it, to the point of near crippling discomfort when she tries to talk to people while actively trying not to be a shithead.
While she does value time and space to herself, Creed is used to being around people and will seek out/inflict herself on others to keep her company. Not outgoing, but not at all shy either, not a leader but not afraid to voice an opinion, she's middle of the pack and comfortable there.
Self-aware geek, she is vocal about what a loser her hobbies make her, but that doesn't actually stop Creed from playing MMOs, tabletop games, or LARPing, nor does it diminish her enjoyment. Creed is in it for the immersion, and for the sense of feeling important without actually having to bear the weight of responsibility. She wants to be strong without having to work out, she wants to be smart without having to study, she wants to help save the day without taking actual risk.
Evanessa A pampered society ghoul of an extremely dramatic nature, she fled her ancestral home (and school) to get out of an unwanted arranged marriage. Without any marketable skills or willingness to do the sort of work involving unskilled labour, Evanessa was considering returning home after two weeks in the world when a strange reaper approached her about a much easier life, where she'd be taken care of an treated properly. It would be another marriage of sorts, but at least she had a choice.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? Seeing shadows move and the vague sense that other weird s**t was happening didn't have a great impact on Creedence after she reached middle school and was above hiding from bogeymen who were, let's be real, probably easily explained away through lighting changes and the way old houses make all sorts of sounds. But she'd just graduated and college was waiting and Creed didn't want to go. Like at all. When given the choice of joining some secret monster hunting society versus starting the path becoming a responsible adult, the former won out in a snap, slightly hysterical, entirely irresponsible decision. Chances were it was some sort of game show, right?
Weapon Ability Bloodlust (Battle Cry) : Evanessa's more violent nature is briefly drawn out. The dagger glows an intense red that coats her wielder in a bloody light.
Physical Description:
In her official trainee clothes, she should have a long coat with a hood that obscures much of her head and shadows her eyes.
Eye Colour: Blue Hair Colour/Style: Dark brown Skin Colour: Fair with light freckling Clothing Style/Colours: Ultra casual (jeans, metal band t-shirts, flannel) outside of uniform, kinda thief/rogue-esque in uniform. Either or a mix of the two is fine for official arts ~ ! Extra: References: Looks based on a non-glammed-up Kaya Scodelario: x x x x similar build too: x

yes some her fave hand me downs
It's going to be hard in ways she'll likely internalize a lot and gloss over with jokes and attitude. The obscured identity is definitely part of her way of dealing with the reality of it and responsibility (though also tied to how self conscious it makes her feel) by stepping into the role of a hunter rather than being one. It's escapism but there's no delusion, she knows its a coping mechanism that will likely be temporary. (How temporary I have no idea, could be weeks could be a year.)
Outside of sparring, working hard on her physical abilities and division skills is going to likely require either a really bad run-in with enemies or another hunter to push and pull her into it (she can put up a good show of dragging her heels, but is fairly easily led.)
As far as Death hunter works goes, she's got a good mind for working out how to get something done without drawing attention or creating a spectacle. She tends to have a very good idea of her own ability and measuring them against a task or fight, and despite the decision that brought her to Deus, she isn't reckless.
Personality wise, there's going to be some clash. They're used to different sorts of cliques and social classes, but I think there's potential for them to gain a really close relationship given some time.
