Goldenrod City is a sprawling metropolis located in western Johto. It is the largest city in the region, rivaling Celadon City, the largest city in Kanto. Goldenrod City is the fourth largest city in the Pokémon world, behind Unova's Castelia City and Nimbasa City and Kalos's Lumiose City. Goldenrod is the center of the region's economy and telecommunications. Major attractions for Trainers include the Goldenrod Radio Tower, the city's Department Store, Game Corner, Name Rater, Magnet Train. The sun outside the forest was to bright at first for his eyes to handle but he didn't feel like holding a hand over his face. Pulling his hood up and letting the edge hang over to give shade to his eyes ohmarow pushed past and around Ko and the pokemon. He had no desire to admire the view of this city. Goldenrod city sense the moment he stepped foot here 2 years ago had always made him unease and uncomfortable. It was only later when he meat Sonoko again that he learned his mother and father lived in the city. Perhaps it was an instinctual hatred of them that made him feel so unease around the concert beast. She sooner he got to Goldenrod the faster he could leave.
From here he could see the Daycare and it wasn't far from there he knew the explosion had taken place. In fact he thought he could just make out where the grass was still trying to regrow. "Fine do what ever but lets go Ko, I want to get in and out within 3 days time." He made no attempt to hide the tong of dislike and the foul mood behind it. Ohmarow's sudden change in mood concerned Ko. Qungra only added to the concern when she stopped Ko to mention the very unsettling news about the psychic's lack of connection. 'I can't get in either.' Mila added. Ko glanced over to Mila giving her a stern look. "Mila..." Well, there really wasn't any reason to scold the fox, at least Ko wasn't in the mood to do so. With a shake of her head she looked back at Qungra and continued forward. "I'm sure he has a lot on his mind and he just doesn't want you to worry. Keeping you out isn't really a way to do that, but I'm sure if he wants to talk he will if we give him space." Of course Ko wanted to do the opposite, but she really wanted to get inside where it wasn't so bright. Even still, she called out Seraphim and asked the bird to fly overhead to watch over Ohm from the sky. "Keep a close eye on him, If he does anything to cause alarm, come get me pronto." Seraphim cawed into the air and took flight, his objective set.
From there, Ko rushed forward, using the cane-staff to compensate for her still sore ankle. "Ohm, I'll be quick about my shopping okay? I'm pretty sure all I need is at the Department store, so I'll just meet you at the gym alright?" With that she flashed him a smile, even if he didn't look down towards her to see it, and set her path for the inner city.

Following behind Ko ohmarow hung his head in deep thought and concentration. Watching the ground at his feet more then the direction of the path he was taking. Somehow, ether be instinct or accident he found himself coming up on the spot he had wanted to avoid for two days straight. Whether or not Ko was with him didn't mattered now. He couldn't hold back the flood or emotions as he dropped to his knees. One hand drew lines in the dirt as he clinched his fingers into a fist as the other blocked out the light over his blind eye. The memory's of the day blasted past his mental walls and into the forefront of his mind as if he was relieving them all over again. The images of swirling sand the physically pain as an explosion ripped through the air and ground. The feel of warm blood as it covered his face, The all engulfing cold blackness that ensued. The fear he was going to die, the not knowing what had happened to Grindda or Ozzula. Waking up in a strange place days later blind in an eye. Ohmarow could do little but weep as he battled his own mental demons for control over his body as it shock and curled into a ball as a child might for protecting. Unable to do anything but force himself to take long deep chocking breaths and close his eye and block out the world. When he regained enough mental control he pushed himself onto his hands and knees. A feeling of sick had taken hold and would be pushed back down. When the feeling subsisted he could again sit up. A pool of vomit covered the ground in front of him that he couldn't look away from. It was more pleasing to admire the sick then the green field around him. When at last he could think clearly he fond his face covered in tears and dirt. His eye, the blind one for the first time sense the explosion throbbed with a nearly unbearable pain. Still ignorant of who or what was around him he spoke. "Well i ever recover or im i to be ever tormented by these demons ..."
Eager to get her shopping done and abide by Ohm's wishes to get out of Goldenrod as quick as they could, she didn't notice Ohm wandering away until Kezia mad mention of it. Motioning towards the male as he seemed to linger off the path. He looked fairly down, and really.. it wasn't like Ko to ignore this. She'd left Seraphim to watch over him, but something just told her that he alone wasn't going to be enough. Biting her lip she turned sharply and started to trail behind Ohmarow, taking it slow since she didn't want to alarm him that she was following, not until they got someplace more secluded.
Then, quite suddenly Ohm collapsed. Ko stepped forward, stopping when she heard weeping... was he crying? The blonde's smile vanished there as she watched him. This spot... looked off to her, had something tragic happened here? Looking around she recalled meeting Tish here, a Pokemon she knew from way back when... Had he... lost someone here? Or was it something close to that? Stepping forward slowly, the blonde reached out her hand and rubbed it along Ohm's back for a bit before she knelled down and half-hugged him, her head resting on his shoulder. She said nothing, as nothing really could be said, simply smiled softly, giving him a shoulder to cry on, or simply an outlet to let out his frustrations upon.

Ohmarow was still emotionally numb and wasn't aware Ko was even there until her felt her hand on his back. Why was he here of all places, Even the enclosed space back at Mt.moon where he had gotten trapped for days was less frightening then here. This place held a type of terror he couldn't put into words mentally or verbally. Every fiber of his body screamed to run and hide but his arms and legs refused to act and it was Ko's embrace however limited, a comfort he hadn't known in years that prevented his escape. As if the act of a confession was his only escape or way to relieve his mental suffering he spoke knowing Ko was the one holding him. His words came slow between breaths as he fought for full control of a body he couldn't stop from shacking. "It early in the morning, and a thick fog had hung to the ground for days. We'ed been running for a week. They destroyed my home and chased us into the woods. We beat them back but in the end one." his words cut off as he attempted to regain some lost composer. His breathing shallow and rasping as his chocked back another sobbing whimper. "Grindda's sandstorm saved us. Adsorbed the blast. But i .... i was hit by something. Landing against the rocks. It stabbed through my eye. I... i blacked out, woke up in the Goldenrod hospital three days later. The daycare man had heard the explosion and found us." As if his instinctual reactions finally kicked it he reached for his coats hood and pulls it up to cover his face as he whipped the dirt and tears away thought he made no attempt to flee Ko's presence succumbing to a feeling of tired emotional submission and a general feeling of lethargy. They're here to protect you as much as you are here to protect them." Taking in a deep breath, the blonde stood up and rested a hand on Ohm's back. "Take your time, and console with your Pokemon. Let's meet at the Pokemon center tonight and tomorrow we'll start fresh with you kicking Whitney's butt." Giving off a shaky chuckle, Ko turned to look at Mila, Hen and Kezia, with a nod from Kezia, the group of them started for the city, leaving Ohm to his own devices. She'd done all she could do.

Ohmarow made no attempt to follow Ko or prevent her from leaving. He wanted and needed some time along to think things over. He knew Ko's past regarding her Ex as she now knew his. She was right thought. His pokemon had always been with him. They fought for him and Grindda had even put his life on the line to protect him. Ozzula refused to obey him but now he knew why. He always held himself to being this self confident person with nothing to fear but now he knew better. He understood himself better. His confidence was his weakness. He underestimated his opponents time and again. He won most battles out of power and skill but he always fought thinking nothing could touch him. But his eye, the blind spot he would forever live with was prof he had been ignorant of the possibility of sheer dumb luck. He was skilled, smart and knowledgeable but it counted for nothing if he didn't use them correctly.
Qungra had left with Ko, She wanted to make sure he'd return to Ko. Picking himself up off the ground but still refusing to look back upon the spot of his past pains he began walking towards Goldenrod. Taking his time he in order to think and regain himself he felt an air of freedom begin to blow at his back. He was free of the suffering he had forced upon himself. The thinking that letting someone else in was to dangerous and they all they would do is hurt him. A spark of a memory ignored. A reasoning behind why he left home but still couldn't bring himself to go further then Azalea town and why for 8 years refused to speak to anyone but wild pokemon. When at long last he arrived just outside of the Goldenrod city gates he pulled the heavyball containing Ozzalu from his belt. While he was still outside the city limits he would release the monster he named the burning tower and perhaps regain its trust and loyalty other wise he would release the king of steelix back into the wild. In a flash of light the Steelix erupted from its ball, He kept both Dust and Baruku in their balls. They being the only pokemon to have ever bested the iron snake king. Looming over him and reaching above the tree tops, leaving a scare upon the ground it lay on as it lowered its massive head to be level with his. Its fangs had yet to ignite into blue flames as they always had when ever he had released it before. It was as if for the first time Ozzalu wasn't mad at being under his command. Ohmarow placed a palm flat on the pokemons upper jaw and held it there. The steelix lifted away to look down upon its diminutive trainer. "Ozzalu im sorry, I don't deserve nor have i earned your power. Im offering you your freedom here and now ... But im also offering you a chance to become something grander then just a wild pokemon of storys. Im sorry iv been weak, and i know you've felt it. Iv been weak when i thought i was strong and i let my ambitions get the better of my judgments." With that Ohmarow place the heavyball on the ground and stepped back. "If you smash the ball your free to go, you'll never see me again."
The giant snack, having battled time and again against its trainer. The Steelix had beaten many a human and their tamed pokemon and he was the only one to have ever beaten it. The steelix lefted its tail as its to smash the heavyball but instead slammed it on the ground behind ohmarow as it unleashed a roar that made every pidgey,spearow and rattata flee from their every hidding places to escape the wrath they feared was to come.The beast lowered it head once more but now it was bowing to its trainer as it to say even it, the king of Steelix would obey such a lonesome creature as him.
Ohmarow finally made it back to the pokemon center by nightfall. He wasn't sure if Ko had already check in or not so he waited in the lobby. It would be dinner time soon and he was pretty sure Ko would be hungry after nearly a week of berry's and rots.

Leaving Ohm was the hardest thing she's done in the past few weeks. She felt somewhat horrible for doing so, but she knew he needed some space. Firstly she headed to the Pokemon Center and found her way to the video phones. She had several reasons to call back home, but mostly it was just to get some funds for her shopping, as a trainer she really didn't have the money to spend, but she was sure her mother and father would be happy to send her some cash to spend on some important things she'd need. A bit of ringing and finally there was an answer, the video picked up showing her mother's face, with Inkaria in the background. "Hello... Oh, dear, hello." Her mother replied with a bright smile. "Hey, mother. How is everything?" Ko asked. Her mother chuckled in reply. "Well, we're all doing fantastic. Your father got a promotion, and I think I've perfected my Pokefood recipe." "Wow, that's amazing, mom." Ko replied with a returned smile, reflecting her mothers. "I just wanted to call to ask you a few things..." The blonde quickly continued, her mother glanced back, with a curious but attentive look.
After about a two hour call, Ko had to finally let her mother go. Obtaining her funds, the blonde headed to the Department store to do some shopping. She didn't realize they'd been talking for so long so she made a mental note to keep in mind Ohm's request. After her call with her mother, the blonde offered a smile towards Qungra, who'd decided to come along with her. "A bit of shopping does good to a woman's soul." She chuckled, flashing a grin as they entered the department store. For several hours that's just what Ko and her crew did with Qungra alongside them. Going from store to store gathering things they'd need for the future. Ko obtained a new bag, with a compact bedroll tucked inside. Along with that she got a new outfit and a robe for when she'd inevitably take a bath in another river some time soon.
The entire time, she had Ohm on the brain. It was sort of... a relief considering what she'd been thinking about for the past few days. As they entered into the last store of the trip, a organic store filled with snacks and the like for traveling Pokemon, Ko found herself staring at a bag of yogurt covered raisins. Kezia stepped over, glancing over Ko's shoulder. "They look good." The fox stated, startling Ko. Dropping the bag she glanced over at Kezia with a sigh. "Don't do that." She spoke, leaning over to pick the snack. "Sorry, I didn't expect you to be spaced out and so jumpy." The fox replied with a frown. Tossing the snack back into it's place Ko turned away from Kezia. "No, I'm sorry.... I suppose I'm just getting tired." Shrugging, Kezia said nothing more on the matter. For a bit longer they lingered in the store, purchasing just a bit more before heading back out of the department store and out onto the city streets. The street lamps were turned on, which drew Ko's attention to the sky. "Crap, we were in there way to long." Ko stated, rushing forward.
The Pokemon Center wasn't to far away from the Department store, which meant it wasn't long before she found herself inside, staring at that back of Ohm's coat. Was he mad? She hadn't honestly meant to spend that much time at the store shopping. "Ohm." Ko called, rushing forward, coming up to his side. "I'm so sorry... were you waiting long?" She asked.

Ohmarow watched with a sense of morbid curiosity as Ko dropped her shopping bags. It never made sense how a women could go out even for so long as she seemed to have and come back with so much. His curiosity was snuffed out as she spoke of food. After the days events and his own personal feelings of late the prospect of a hot meal was almost second to a hot bath and clean cloths. "Sounds good, im starved." Ko offered him the privilege of taking dried fruits but he wasn't one to snoop through someone elses things so he ignored the offer of going through the bag. Partly due to the fact he hadn't been paying full attention when she point it out and had no desire to see something he'd regret but also out of a sense of personal respect, permission given or not. Qungra floated back down from Ko's shoulder as she left and returned to her master, snuggling into his coats hood without so much as a word before falling asleep. As Ko returned with the food he could feel his mouth watering and snatched up a plate. Between a mouthfood of food, ignoring manners he spoke though not looking away from his meal. "By the way i didn't know if you'ed been to the center yet so i didn't reserve a room yet. Figured you'ed gotten your own if you had."
Gingerly chewing at her sandwich, Ko nodded towards Ohm. "Oh, right. I hadn't. I only came here to speak with my mother and get some funds." Finishing off her sandwich, she opened up a bag of Trail-mix to munch on that. A small stomach naturally, Ko was filled up with the food and juice before long. Leaning back, she held up a hand as a burp escaped. "Excuse me." She muttered. "Anyway, I think I'm going to have a proper bath then head to bed." Moving away from the table, she picked up a few bags, while Hen and Kezia grabbed a few themselves. Mila, cuddling her egg stepped up behind, using psychic to lift a bag herself. "You should head to bed soon also." With a pat on the table, she headed off towards the tray return with one of the trays, dropping it off before waving to Ohm as she made her way down stairs to get a room.
Not long after, she found herself unpacking the bags, separating her new clothes into a pile with her used ones, slipped on her robe and headed to the Laundry to clean up her clothes while she went to take a bath, alone. It'd been quite some time since she'd taken a bath by her lonesome. Usually she had Kezia or Nocturnal with her, but now she was alone, which was actually a good thing. Letting herself muddle in her thoughts, she did more soaking then actual cleaning. Before long she got out looking almost like a dried prune. Sheepishly making her way back to her room, she slipped into bed.
Before Ko had returned, the bulk of Ko's team had started to make themselves comfortable. Nena fussed over Nocturnal's new colours, finding it strange how Ko seemed to attract dark or black fur Pokemon. Mila herself was one as well, being dawned with black fur amongst her dark plum. Viska herself was covered in a dark brown and black. Was it some sort of sign? Whatever the case Nocturnal wiggled her way out of the room onto the fire escape, with the lie of wanting to get some air. Everyone knew better, but what could they do? After Nocturnal had left, Kezia gave follow.
Mid-yawn, Ko looked across the darkened room. "Wheres Kezia and Nocturnal?" Ko asked, knowing she hadn't returned either of them to their balls. 'Went out to get some air together.' Mila replied. 'Kezia simply followed.' Viska added. "Oh... I see. Well, Kezia can handle Nocturnal, that I'm sure of." Turning over the blond closed her eyes. "Good night, everyone." A string of goodnights followed Ko's and from there only the sounds of the city filled the air.

Ohmarow having finished his food before Ko was already collecting his things as well as preparing for the gym battle to come. Pulling his TM case and a few other items to the forefront of the bag but paused when Ko burped. It wasn't something he had expected but quickly dismissed it going back to the task at hand. Ko's comment about talking to her mother was a little depressing for him having not spoken to his mother or father in at least eight plus years but he pushed the though and emotion behind it aside to foces on the goods rather then the bads. "Sure i just need to do a few things first, see you in the morning."
He had been mentally planing this battle out for the better past of a week. Watching as Ko collected her things and left the lobby he waited until the coast was clear before moving to the PC to withdraw Brimja. He knew the gym leader Whitney was no push over. She was well known for sending trainers packing and he needed a power house ace. Ozzalu was more then powerful enough but his size posed the problem. He would never fit in the gym. Brimja he knew could and would deliver a punch no other pokemon under his command could but it was a one time deal.
After a short while spent improving his pokemons move pool and preparing for the gym battle tomorrow he got his own room. All his cloths had been covered in dirt, sick and stunk of sweat and filth. So while he bathed he had Qungra and Brimja wash his cloth after showing them how to work a washing machine. The to pokemon enjoyed having something to do though they fought over who got to do what.
When he had bathed and redressed in the basic's, a shirt and pants, he made his way to his room. Laying out his coat he admired the regained shine of the black leather and the returned white inner fur. He spent just enough time to shine his boots and feed the pokemon he hadn't feed at dinner before turning in for the night.
