Sebastian gave a little grin as the battle concluded, wrapping his arms around Naps neck and giving the pokemon a grateful hug. It’d been a bit of a risky scheme with that final battle but the Typhlosion pulled it off perfectly. He returned him to rest and looked to Jasmine as she arrived to congratulate and hand him his winnings. He returned the gesture and offered a friendly handshake of his own, Bluff bouncing up and down in excitement at the victory of her trainer. "Thank you very much miss!" Sebastian was trying hard to suppress the grin on his face from looking to manic; he was just grateful how smoothly things had gone; his last battle hadn’t been nearly as neat after all. He took his winnings and tucked them away.
"Thank you, I’m certain I will." Eyeing the TM a moment, he was certain it was something he could make use of with Shuffle; thinking about it… he really needed to catch her and a few of his other pokemon up as well. There would be time for that later though. For now, he scooped up Bluff and turned to exit the gym, heading immediately for the pokemon center. He dropped off his team and took a seat to look over where they needed to head next. It looked like it would be Mahogany Town; against ice. Hm… that one was tough. He’d have to think a little on strategy. As Sebastian mulled over his options, Bluff wandered just under the table and looked curiously as she discovered a small plastic egg. She picked it up and looked it over a moment before chirping and quickly scuttling out to show it to Sebastian. The man blinked and looked at her curiously. "Oh!" It looked to be one of those eggs from the egg hunt. They really were big about hiding some in the pokemon centers, weren’t they? Even if he was still considering whether to join or not, Sebastian decided to keep the thing and tucked it away for the time being. He heard the ding to indicate his team was all healed up, scooping up Bluff once more and retrieving them before making to head outside and summon the rider again. Maybe after the badge tries he’d give the egg hunting a go… but badges first.

Terrence decided to take a nap on the way to Johto. It was kind of nice, and very well needed. He rested well, Az constantly on the look out... well at least he was halfway through. After a while he too drifted asleep, and it was well deserved. Once the captain stated that they had arrived, Az awoke first before looking over at Terrence. He then nudged him, and poked his cheek. Terrence groaned at first, before blinking his eyes open slowly. He then woke up after a few more pokes and looked around. When he noticed they were here, he smiled and looked around a bit.

Terrence stood up, Az climbing up towards his head again/ Terrence quickly reached upwards and grabbed him laughing "alright no more sitting on my head" he spoke. Az huffed, but was content with sitting in his arms. Terrence was glad that he didn't put up too much of a fuss. With that, he moved forwards and off of the boat. Terrence looked around a bit more, and was surprised to see a gym in this town. Though to be honest he really shouldn't have thought that was a surprise, after all every region had gyms... well except Alola. However, Alola had something similar to gyms so in a way they were similar in the regard. Pursing his lips he walked over to the gym just to take a look. He was way too weak to even think about challenging this gym yet, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to check it out while he was here.

Terrence whistled as he realized just how strong the pokemon were at this gym. It was an understatement to say that he would have been totally destroyed if he challenged the gym now. Terrence decided it was time to go looking for that egg, and made his way to the other side of town. As much as staring at the gym seemed like fun, the gym leader might get a bit suspicious of him if he was just loitering there without a reason. So he moved and looked around the town as he walked through it. He wasp pleasantly surprised to see an egg in plain sight, not even hidden that well. That was a first, and so he walked over and picked it up before putting it away. Once it was stored away, he decided to look for an exit and head towards the next egg location.

Olivine; another city though this one had a port which made keeping oneself located outside a rather difficult task. It took Dova circling a few times before she found a place to touch down and let them off. Lafayette set the incense down again, yawning and rubbing at his eyes as Cheri headed off once more to find the egg. This was a rather boring task to be honest; he wondered exactly what Juliean was thinking when he all but demanded he go out on this stupid scavenger hunt.

Lafayette hated menial tasks like this; the only thing making it slightly more bearable was the use of the incense to collect and train. Noah was at least enjoying himself which was good and getting stronger by the moment. Even if there wasn’t much to the pokemon that were appearing, there was just enough to make them worth fighting. Ah well, there wasn’t much more he could do. It was fairly evident that this egg hunt was just that… an egg hunt.

Absently he chucked another pokeball as he thought more on the hunt. How long had it been going on exactly? Juliean had given him five days to finish -or rather, there were five days left to the event- but exactly when had it started? And why did the man wait until now to inform Lafayette to get involved? Had it started up while he was hospitalized? That would’ve taken a fair chunk of time out for him to utilize. An event of this scale though couldn’t just go for a couple of weeks though…

Another ball tossed to capture another pokemon who’d wandered their way in to see what the fuss was about and Lafayette spotted Cheri returning once more with an egg in hand. Actually, a moment of looking at her and he realized she looked a little roughed up. Her fur was tousled though she didn’t appear to be injured in any fashion. What had she gotten into? He tilted his head at her curiously, receiving nothing but a blank stare as she offered up the egg. Oh well. He tucked it away and summoned out Dova, deciding he would as Cheri his initial questions once they had touched down at the next spot. Noah scooped up the incense for him and climbed on as well, clearly ready for the next batch of challenges coming their way.

Olivine City, it'd be the first place of civilization that Huey was actually awake to see. As nice as it was to be surrounded by other humans again, and the familiar hum of city life, Staraptor took a bit longer to find a place to set Huey off. Feeling bad that he'd broken his promise, Huey released Cloud with a guilty expression. "I'm sorry Cloud," he apologized once the pokemon materialized. "I forgot that I said I'd let you text the unknown number, and texted them back." Cloud looked up at his trainer, his wide eyes and open mouth expression given him a look of shock. It didn't last for long, however, and the Togepi spun his way over to his trainer before wrapping his leg in a hug. "It's okay, Huebert! I forgive you~" he assured. Huey, even while being relieved, felt his cheeks grow warm with embarrassment. He rubbed the back of his neck, took in a breath, then offered the communicator to Cloud. "Thank you. If you want, you could still text them. Maybe she won't mind." Pulling back from the human, Cloud eagerly took up the offer before staring hard at the letters in front of him.
