He'd sort of heard some of the history of this place, about Team What's-It using some radio to distress the pokemon into evolving. Possibly because he simply wasn't all too open to the notion. He frowned, snapping his eyes open when it started to puzzle piece itself together. She wanted him to take something. Then, the memory of the fuzz-poof nudging against him. A sense of encouragement. A request. A feeling of support, then a notion of transportation. The gas ball could teleport? And she wanted him to take it with him. For some reason. But why the hell would he do that, when she could just take him places?

.... She was leaving. Back to her universe, for a while. He frowned. That made sense, he guessed. The disappointment sort of flooded out the rest of what she was trying to convey. Something about.... wanting... and getting stronger... and, well, the rest was lost. He wasn't really paying attention anymore, and unfortunately, that was necessary when communicating with Lunala. She seemed to feel it, too, and drew back, looking at him. He huffed and folded his arms over his chest, a bit begrudging. The pokemon seemed pretty.... well, it was a puff of gas or something, wasn't it? He knew pokemon's appearances could be misleading, but... he wasn't sure it would exactly be easy to look after. Did it even know any moves?

Lake of Rage.... what a name. Someone who knew her and was on good terms with her (so, like, no one) might have been able to joke that this was clearly the lake for her. "Might as well be Ajicka's lake!" or something. Surprisingly though, when she arrived, Ajicka was feeling pretty laid back, almost even 'at peace'. Her mind was elsewhere, so even as she started looking with her pokemon, she was distracted. Only Sableye seemed to take much note, though; the others were likely used to this, at this point.

'The others', meaning essentially torchic. Given his little pout fest, Ajicka had decided to just keep Edge in his pokeball. She really didn't want to listen to him b***h about using him for a lift down the mountain, anyway. Sure, he wasn't exactly a heavy-weight Pidgeot, but whatever. He was strong, and he could deal, and she just needed him to basically not fall out of the air. Which he did. But somehow, she knew he'd be holding a grudge about it, and he didn't really want to deal with it. Or, perhaps someone even smaller than Torchic, that could move around fast, and look into every little spot there was. Honestly, she was surprised he hadn't let himself out at this point; he used to seem to delight so very much in doing so. Maybe he finally figured out it didn't scare her, just annoyed the hell out of her? She wasn't sure, and she wasn't sure she wanted to encourage him by letting him out. Giving in, Ajicka grabbed Joltik's pokeball and tossed it in the air, releasing the little spider pokemon. The beam of light zig-zagged down-- then, suddenly, took a sharp leap up to her shoulder, where the pokemon manifested. She turned her head to give him an annoyed side look. "Still not scared," she muttered to the pokemon, who looked back at her with blood red eyes. Little white feet poking out of black fluff skittered on her shoulder, before he darted into her hair. She rolled her eyes as she felt him scuttle down her back, and then leap to the ground. Seriously, was that supposed to give her the creeps? What a weird little pokemon....

Ajicka turned to watch him as he scurried off, narrowing her eyes at his tiny little form. "Just help look for the plastic eggs, alright?" she urged, then raised her voice as she called after him, "And don't get lost! I'm not waiting for you if you're gone when we find one!" That was, of course, an absolute lie. She needed him for her final team. But she didn't want him getting cocky and thinking this was permission to just wander off or whatever. She turned away and strode off to look for the eggs herself. It took only a little bit longer before Torchic managed to find one, and luckily, her pokemon regrouped quickly. She eyed Joltik when he immediately found his perch on her shoulder, but rolled her eyes, deciding to allow it for the time being, before Deoxys moved them on. One more left for Johto.

Terrence walked into the area, looking around. It seemed like the lake was rather calm for it to be named the lake of rage. Curious, he moved forwards still looking around a bit more to see if there was something he was missing. Of course once he got closer to the water, he noticed the larger water type pokemon in the water. What pokemon was that, it looked huge! He took a few steps closer to the edge of the lake, probably way too close than he should have been, when a loud splash and something coming out of the water. He stumbled back, dodging the turret or water that was just shot at him. What the heck?!

Terrence looked at the menacing pokemon before him, and he scooted back a bit "I didn't mean to interrupt you!" he quickly said, waving his hands back and forth frantically. The water type looked at him, swishing it's long body back and forth. Terrence knew why it was called the lake of rage now, this lake was full of gyarados! He sheepishly gulped, fiddling with his fingers before looking up at it. Eventually though, it seemed to realize that he really wasn't a threat and turned away from him. It splashed some water towards him with its tail before diving back down into the water. Dear Arceus he just had a heart attack!

Terrence sighed, a hand on his chest. This was seriously a scary experience. He didn't think that something that huge was hiding in the lake. He'd have to be more careful in the future. Getting up, he brushed his clothes off a bit, before looking over to see a black snake like creature. He's never seen anything like that in his entire life. Maybe he could try to catch it? It would be the first time he caught a pokemon if he did this. So he took out a pokeball and tossed it. Of course he completely missed "uh-oh" he said, laughing awkwardly. He sheepishly watched as it charged at him, causing Terrence to jump up alarmed. Az jumped into action, not going to let the wild pokemon attack his trainer.

Terrence watched as Az lunged in, using quick attack to slam the enemy away with his tail. The wild pokemon flew to the side, crying out as it landed hard on the ground. Az tapped him, motioning him to throw the ball now "oh... right, right it's health is lowered so there's a higher chance of catching it now" he said. He quickly whipped out another pokeball, before throwing successfully this time. He watched as it hit the pokemon before the ball sucked it in. It rolled back and forth one, twice, three times... before it stopped and a loud clicking sound was heard. He sighed, walking over to the pokemon he just caught. He smiled, rubbing the top of the pokeball gently "I'm sorry we got so rough, but Az was just trying to protect me... I hope you don't hold a grudge or anything later for that" he said softly, before sending the pokemon to his box. He wanted to get it healed as soon as possible after all.

Terrence was actually pretty happy that he caught a pokemon, it wasn't necessarily that plan, but he wasn't complaining. The only thinf he did sort of feel bad about was hurting the wild pokemon in order to catch him. He really wished they could have done it more peacefully. Sighing, he ran a hand through his hair before looking over and blinking. Just to the side of where the wild Klow was, laid the egg they had been searching for. He walked over and picked it up, before putting it away. The lake a rage actually had a lot of surprises for him, and it was not boring in the slightest. With that, he decided to move to the next location and left the lake of rage.
