"Lake of Rage" Connecting Land Routes: Mahogany Town
The Lake of Rage also known as Gyarados Lake, is a location in Johto. It is located just north of Mahogany Town, connecting it with Route 43, making it the northern-most accessible point of the Johto region. A large lake spans the area of the Lake of Rage, with a few residents living nearby. It is said to be the largest lake in the region. West of the lake lies a labyrinth of trees, which hides a house. It is said the Lake of Rage was created the last time many Gyarados got together and stirred up a storm. The crater that remained filled with rainwater and became the Lake of Rage.
-5 rp posts are required, then roll a 6-sided dice. This will determine the Pokemon that appears. In the next post, roll a 4-sided dice to determine level of the wild Pokemon.
Lucario, Prinplup and Gio all arrived at Lake of Rage with a bit of pip I'm their steps. "Ok you two, we are gonna do some battling for training up against Chuck. This is gonna be the best place for it I think" Sure enough a group of Girafarig and Pidgeotto made there way in as if running from something. "Alright guys, let's take that group down!" Lucario took Charge attacking the group of Girafarig leaving the Pidgeotto for Prinplup. Thankfully Prinplup seemed more than willing to do just that as it released a heck of a Blizzard attack taking the two Birds down and out on the first hit. "That was really good you two way to go!" Gio congratulated suprised that his Prinplup had so much power.

Not even moments after Lucario and Prinplup had finished battling the horde of Girafarig, it seemed as if one was lagging behind. However it seemed to be lagging behind due to a group of Mareep and Flaaffy attacking it. "Hey break it up you guys, leave the poor guy alone" that seemed to be a mistake. Instead they turned their attention and attacks towards Gio and his Pokemon. "Ok, you two let's take em out" surprisingly Prinplup desideded to take the lead on this one, trying to take four of them on by himselves

Clearing the area was alot easier the than Gio had thought. Not to mention Prinplup was far stronger than Gio knew. Just as she thought. They were total push overs. Though if it wasn't for Aislin the battle might have gone a different direction, mostly as far as Celsius was concerned. Whatever the case, the red-head stepped up and locked her gaze on the grunts. "Get the hell out of here before I sick my Pokemon after you too." She stated with deep tone. The grunt who's Pokemon fell last recalled the Golbat and quickly grabbed the other by the arm. Avikna watched them both run past her lightning fast and vanish through the doors leading to Mahogany. After she was sure they were long gone Avikna let out a heavy breath, turning towards Aislin and Celsius. "Let's heal you two up before we continue."
With both Aislin and Celsius fully healed, the red-head lead her team onward to the lake. The whole time Avikna's mind wandered back to those two grunts. They were likely reporting into their superior that they'd run into her, though they'd like leave out the part about them battling and loosing. Avikna wasn't aware who their superior was, she never bothered remembering the faces of the grunts.. or really anyone, she just did her own thing during her time in Team Rocket. No matter where she went she just couldn't seem to lose them however. All these thoughts on her regrettable past had her completely distracted, that was until raindrops pulled her out of her trance. Looking up, the sky was completely covered in dark gray clouds. The wind to had suddenly picked up and within seconds it was pouring rain. Noticing a building of sorts up ahead, the red-head directed her team towards that area.
When she finally arrived she was completely soaked through, shivering on top of that. Fall storms were particularly bad, since the air was colder outside and getting wet from rain was never a good thing even in summer. "Oh, another one. Come in and sit down by the fire." spoke a male. Avikna found the owner of the voice belonged to an older man dressed in a ranger's uniform. Likely the attendant of the building. Noting the nearby fire, she took him up on his offer and quickly found a spot near the fire to dry off. Celsius returned to Avikna's back, while Mave curled up in a corner trying to take up as little space as possible. Her fur was already dry and she didn't really need to worry about staying warm, so she didn't mind sticking out of the way of the other trainers and campers that were seeking shelter from the storm.

Several hours passed by before many realized the rain wasn't likely going to be stopping until morning. So the ranger of the tower began to direct the females to an upstairs area of the gate house to set up their bedrolls while the men stayed downstairs. Avikna followed, though she didn't have a bedroll so she had to pick an area close to the wall to rest herself down for the night against Mave. Aislin and Kezia made for good warmers as well, Kezia mostly with her long thick fur.
When the morning sun broke over the horizon it welcomed a brand new day. Avikna was one of the early risers, and quickly made her departure, though she didn't get very far before she noticed a whole gaggle of rocket grunts heading towards the gatehouse, resting on the back of a large Arcanine were two people that made Avikna's hair stand on end, her teeth glench, and her hand ball into a fist. Appearing beside her was the girl from the night prior, her Pikachu riding on her shoulder. "Woah, what are those Cretans doing here?" The girl voiced with a narrowed gaze. The pikachu on her shoulder also gave off an upset cry. Avikna glanced over to the girl... Perhaps she'd have an ally for the time being, but then.... if the two on the back of the Arcanine voiced the knowledge on who Avikna was... would she instead turn on her? Well, whatever, Avikna assumed she could easily take care of the young girl... it was the two on the back of the Arcanine that worried her more.
Arms folded, Avikna watched as the Arcanine stopped the two on it's back spotting her from their high perch. "Avi, dear!" Cooed the woman sitting sidesadle behind the male. She slid from the Arcanine's back, landing firmly on her high-heeled feet. Clomping her way through the fresh mud, she opened a fan to hide the obvious smile. "I heard from my grunts that you were here, I haven't seen my baby girl in so long, I had to come myself." Her eyes did not reflect the feelings of a loving mother. The girl at Avikna side stepped away for a moment, her gaze turning up to Avikna. The red-head ignored it, stepping forward with the intention of walking away. She was quickly stopped by the male's presence.... Hojo. "Were are you going? It took us so long to find you, and now you're just going to walk away? Come on Avi dear. Don't just ignore your mother." Avikna gaze narrowed, but instead of replying she stepped off to the side and tried to walk past him, but quickly found a hand on her shoulder, holding her in place. Her gaze ventured to the shoulder for a moment she stared at it, before raising her own hand up and gripping Hojo's wrist, squeezing as hard as she could, she got him to release her arm. Despite his attitude, Hojo was still very weak. His way of intimidating her wasn't going to work anymore. "S-s**t!" He growled, finally pulling his arm away. "Man, you've gotten stronger..." Tear of course by now was upon them. "Wait, Avi dear, can't you at least oblige your mother with one cup of coffee? Hmm? I went through all the trouble of tracking you down." The woman pleaded, though her tone was obviously fake. Avikna ignored this fake plea and continued walking. "Hmph.. You're just like your father! Fine, If there is only one way for you to listen, then so be it." Reaching to her back she pulled out a ball releasing from it a Pokemon, her trusty Persian, likely sent into it's ball for it's distaste of canine-like Pokemon. Avikna had stopped long before she issued the challenge. The word. 'just like your father' rang throughout her mind. That was all that was needed to be said in order to get fully on Avikna's bad side. Mother or not.

That was that, her precious feline was taken down by Avikna's Lucario. Aislin held up a fist, ready to take on anyone else, but no one dared move after Tear's defeat. The red-head's mother had just a short a temper as her daughter did when it came to a battle lost. But then the woman's face turned upward, a smile stretched across her lips. "As strong as ever, I see. Nothing can stand in my daughters path once she's made up her mind, correct?" The woman let out a sigh, motioning for a grunt to step forward, in their hands a neatly wrapped box. "I bought these for you, the least you could do is wear them." The woman chuckled some as she motioned the grunt forward. "Don't worry, they're not bugged or anything. Send'em into the deep waters of the Lake here for all I car... Just know these were bought with love." That fake tone of hers... 'Love my a**...' Avikna thought, snatching the box away from the grunt. He quickly retreated, not willing to take the wrath of two of the Lupita females. With out a single word the red-head turned away and left her mother behind. It wasn't until Avikna was out of sight that Tear finally burst with fury.
The younger red-head couldn't care any less. That woman was her mother, and some stupid naive part of her wanted to love that woman, but trust was another thing all together. Nearly halfway to the lake, Avikna opened the box and sat down to look over the items she'd received. A coat and a new pair of pants... at least her mother knew her style... kind of odd she knew her size as well, but still.. the red-head was in need of some fall to winter clothing. After going over the cloth with a fine toothed comb, she found herself satisfied that there were no trackers in the clothing. And after a quick change of clothing thanks to the cover of Mave's wings, Avikna emerged far warmer than she'd been previously.

Smoothing herself out, the red-head released her hair form it's binding, letting her hair flow down. It weighed heavy, telling her just how long it'd gotten. Annoyingly long, and for whatever reason it was only now bothering her. "Celsius, cut here." The red-head demanded as she held up her hair, motioning with her other hand to where the hair slacked some. The blade wasn't to happy about being told to work like a pair of scissors, but he obeyed... just taking off a few more inches then Avikna had wanted. She felt the hair she held grow limp, meaning he'd cut it, but after reaching her hand back she let out a heavy snarl. "Whatever, at least it's short again." With that Venonat out of the way, the group made their way to the lake. Meeting the large lake, one could hardly tell where the other end of it was. A part of the red-head wanted to jump in but not with all these people around... she did admit ably like swimming. Mave ventured over while Celsius scooped out the area for another potential battle. 'Just dive right in.' Mave grinned, reaching a wing out to playfully push the red-head forward. Avikna's eyes snapped over to the wolf, a scowl fixing it's place on her face. "I don't think so, not fully clothed." She stated. "Besides it's to cold for swimming in a lake." Instead she sat down in the grass, finding the ground rather dry... the frost hadn't quite reached this part of Johto yet, despite being in the northern regions. Mave rested down herself beside the red-head, offering her warmth that radiated from her body. 'All this waiting is boring... I forgot how tiresome training was.' Avikna nodded, somewhat agreeing with the wolf. 'Do you have to go all the way to the eighth badge in this region? couldn't we just, go to a warmer region?" Avikna turned her gaze away, letting out a sigh. "I don't think it should take to long.. Maybe a day or two." Avikna replied. "If we can't beat this gym after two days of training we'll go to Hoenn, I could manage the next badge there." She wasn't to confident in her chances, given her last 3 gym battles here in Johto.

Sacrificing a Full Restore to bring Celsius back to fighting order, the red head instructed the blade to also be more careful, especially around Mareeps.. that paralysis was an annoyance. Though that was seemingly the least of their worries, when suddenly a couple campers ran out from the tree-line screaming at the top of their lungs. Avikna turned her gaze to see what the commotion was about, but saw nothing, until a web seemingly shot out from nowhere. "Spinarak?" Around here? Sure they were native to Johto, but they didn't travel this far north naturally did they? Standing up, she motioned Celsius forward to investigate.
