Purple Astartes: Hawk Lords

Hello! I know I've been absent, I had promises of Orks (I did finish 1K points and got side tracked with a new Dark Eldar release and ending up with buying Space Marines).

I started with an Ultramarines Successor chapter, Hawk Lords, a chapter known for preferring using gunships rather than drop pods. So flyers will be a common sight in my army.

This will be a slow progress project, as I won't paint in my usual batches but rather a model to model basis.

I have finished my first (half) Tactical Squad, using a FW Palantine blade as my Veteran Sergeant.

Gotta love them Inquisitor miniatures!

I got my hands on Slick, Eisenhorn, Covenant and Joseph, all mint-in-box (soon to be assembled... I'm not much of a collector...)!!!

Always a joy to see your work. Excellent purple armour and the glow on the plasma pistol and gravity gun is amazing, not as overdone as some people tend to.

Uhm... well... There's been some problems with the Razorbacks, so I'm going to put those on hold, and start on my command squad instead.

And thus my Apothecary is finished, and I painted the helmet red on the sergeant, Codex style!

I also couldn't keep my hands off my Librarian, so I started painting him as well.
