The Ice Season is coming, although she had not experienced it up until this point, it was very clear to the tribal marked female. Having been one of the first Ice Tribers to have awoken, she had seen their culture rise up around her. It was a magnificent feeling to be among the beginning of a civilization, one that she hoped she would never be around to see the end of. After all, what goes up, must come down. It was that thought that kept her a little weary of emerging herself in it completely. She was by no means a Thrall, but she wasn't a devout soldier either, matter of fact she really had no rank as of yet within the Tribe.
So far, the Styx was a thinker, or more accurately a day dreamer. She tried over and over again to imagine a way she could be happy in this land, in this culture. She loved the thought of an entire tribe working to save itself, but there was something that didn't quite settle right. Walking among the mountains, far away from the rest of the tribe, cleared her head even though it was slowly getting colder. Maybe she could find her way out before the illusive path to the rest of the realm was closed for a season.
But what... What was that blue speck in the distance? She squinted her eyes, perhaps it was a goat she could shove off the cliff for a good giggle.

Aldebaran had been wandering alone for quite a while. He had lost count of how many times the circles in the sky had come and gone, eventually deciding that it didn't matter very much, since they always took turns. He found he liked it best when the darkness came, and the sun wasn't so painfully bright on the snow. It was much cooler then, but best of all was the way the light danced in the sky on some nights, and the tiny pinpricks of the stars spread across the inky blackness. That was his favorite time of the day, even though it was very quiet, and lonely at times.
Unfortunately, it wasn't dark yet that afternoon, as he tried to stalk a small, bouncing creature through the snow. Deb was newly awakened, and hadn't yet had the fortune of approaching anyone from his tribe. He hadn't dared to travel far, either; his curiosity lended itself to only short expeditions around an area in which he'd dug out a small den. His days were spent finding food, and inspecting his surroundings. It wasn't that he was afraid...but it certainly wouldn't do to get lost in the vast white world he'd woke up in.
His form would give him away, even from a distance. He leapt and pounced, crashing down into the snow to catch the tiny morsel beneath his massive paws, a feat not many goats could manage.

When Styx spoke up, it took the newly awakened tahtll by complete surprise. He had not sensed her approach, too distracted by his frivolous hunt, which had not even panned out. The little rodent had found its burrow, disappearing into the frost and leaving its pursuer partially buried. The sound of another voice made Aldebran lurch upwards swiftly, his face, head, and ruff all covered in snow. To see another like himself made his heart soar, and a few moments of shocked staring passed before her question registered.
"I was...just trying to get something to eat!" He said, the amazement in his voice plainly audible. He shook himself off before taking a step towards her, his ears laying back anxiously for a moment. "Who are you? And, if you know, where are we?"
It felt like a rather silly question...but it was all he could think to say. It was rather frightening to wake up alone, surrounded by white cold. It was that thought that made him realize her fur was just as thick as his own. Yes, they were very much alike! He could have bounced with the delight of such a realization, but he kept still, noticing her stature.
Conrad The Mighty It's all good :> No rush, this is funtmes!
