Find a sturdy stick outside with no too many nubbly parts, and of course no leaves! Get a shoelace or a string that is also sturdy, and a rolled up clean sock! Tie it tightly to both the sock (in the middle) and the stick, and viola! Dip the sock in catnip for extra fun! This is for kitties that prefer string/moving toy play c: Be sure to put it up after playing though, so kitty doesn't try to eat the stick, that may smell like something good outside!

If our love is tragedy why are you my remedy?
Could also be a good way to recycle a toy that kitty got bored with, too. Just tie it on the string and it's like a brand new toy. ^^

Its just twine that I was using to practice making a monkey fist ball knot and when I dropped it my cat started batting it around and chewing on it, and I knew he liked 'red' ribbon/string. The ribbon I used makes this great flapping sound when I wave it in the air.
