So you think you can (GIF) dance? <Thanks for the fun ^_^>

Do you think you have the GIF with the dance skills to make a good laugh? Come and show us what you've got. Throw down and join our tournament and you could walk away with over 1 billion in prizes.



Those wishing to become a part of the tournament must submit a GIF showing a humorous type of dancing. The top 16 GIF's will be chosen by four judges including myself to participate in the first round. With each new round, you will be allowed to choose a new dancing GIF to compete with.

With that, please keep these rules in mind:

1. The tournament is single elimination. Those that get selected for each round except the quarter-final and final round will receive a prize though. Each prize rises in value as the the numbers get smaller. There will be only one grand prize winner, but this way all chosen entrants will get a prize.

Additionally- The judges reserve the right to reward honorable mentions even if they do not make it into the tournament.

2. The images must be GIF images. Images in motion. Any other image will not be accepted into the tournament, but are not excluded from an honorable mention. (See #1)

Additionally, if you have the talent, you may create your own GIF.

3. The GIF's must be funny. There are some cool dancing GIF's out there, but we are doing this for laughs right now. The GIF's must work and be present for the entire tournament as well, so please upload them to your personal photo storage (Example: Photobucket) if you are worried someone will replace your image with a hotlink photo.

4. The same GIF may not be used twice. If you think your gif is extremely funny and you have more than one in that category, you may want to save your best GIF's for later rounds.

5. Active participation in the guild is required to participate. Please see the Cookout event guidelines for more information. Ideally, I would prefer that there is some activity in this thread aside from merely posting your gif and moving on. This is a guild event after all. Let's have some interaction smile

6. Obey the Gaia ToS. Post within the rules of Revolution: Gaia. No GIF's or posts that violate either. GIF's that harass staff, members, or the site will not be accepted and may be up for disciplinary action from Revolution: Gaia staff.

To enter the tournament, as the rules say, please post a GIF image of hilarious dancing. The top 16 will be chosen for the first round. Check this post often as it will be updated with the chosen entrants and their GIF image for the start of the tournament. You can find out who will be in the tournament and who they will be dancing off against here. This tournament bracket will also be updated as the contest goes on.

Contest Entrants will receive a prize if they are chosen for the tournament. Honorable mentions are possible as well, where even a non-competitor will win a prize for entertaining dance gifs.
