AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM
Name: Jorgie Nicknames: Jor, George, Jorry Gender: Female Age: 17
Faction: Monster Race: Squonk Natural Ability: • Dissolve Squonk's have the ability to dissolve into a puddle of tears and bubbles, provided they're crying; a little known fact is tears of laughter will also suffice.
Personality:
You're more likely to hear Jorgie before you see her, though not for the reasons monster stereotype would lead one to assume. It's not her boisterous mannerisms that first alert otherwise unsuspecting folks of her approach, but her cumbersome boots, so stuffed with padding that even tiptoeing across a hall may as well be rolling a boulder down it. Covered from head to toe in blemishes and warts — especially her head, but more on that later — Jorgie is forever safeguarding her hands and feet, lest aforementioned warts burst open and... well, spare the details, but rest assured they are quite appalling! And, for her, physically painful.
While being grotesque is generally regarded favorably in the monster community, there are some things that Jorgie prefers to conceal, namely the cluster of oozing, foul-smelling warts on her head. That multi-colored hair of hers isn't a natural born characteristic; in fact, she has no hair at all. What she wears is a wig with strands from various sources clumsily weaved together.
Beyond what's needed to negate her "skin problems", Jorgie takes an independent, day-to-day approach to life. Dwelling on the past will stunt your present, and excessive plans for the future only set you up to be knocked down when things don't go accordingly. Some view her not as spontaneous but irresponsible, and often they're justified by her arriving late to things only to announce she's forgotten what she was supposed to bring with her. On the bright side, her here-and-now approach means she's also armed with a flexible nature and a willingness embrace change on the fly.
Due to her negligent memory and occasional outright laziness, some suspect her without aspirations, but on the contrary Jorgie can be goal-driven to the point of narrow-mindedness. (What do you think got a squonk out in public if not ambition?) This will occasionally manifest itself into competitive tendencies that may be regarded as obnoxious or feisty depending on who you ask.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Why does your character want to come to Amityville as a student? Squonks are notorious as one of the biggest crybabies of the monster world. Jorgie contends this quirk is exaggerated to the point of defining her race, yet she's hardpressed to find examples of squonks who ever amounted to much. It's about time to change that!
FEAR Ability: • Supportive: Tainted Fang Jorgie uses the disgusting substance found in her warts to poison the opponent, damaging them overtime. It also just smells bad and might drive up your laundry bill something fierce.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Beady and black. Hair Colour/Style: A complete train wreck sporting several different shades (and perhaps even textures) of hair, tied and weaved and braided together to make a wig. Technically, she's bald. Skin Colour: A muddy brown. The kind water is when you're fairly certain it's attached to a sewage line. Clothing Style/Colours: Dim and dour attire for this, um, fair lady. Tears that have been sewn and sewn again when necessary, often not by particularly deft hands. Her boots and gloves are a contrast, well-kept, very thick, and if only by comparison, on the more ornate side. Extra: Warts. Warts everywhere. As well as other unsightly blemishes dappling her skin.
