So I remember ages ago their was a huge to do about alternative Gaia sites.
After the recent crash(s) I am highly worried about Gaia's Safety. Both as far as the stability of the site and its general security.
I have check out Roliana and have been pretty satisfied but the site tends to be very dead.
Anyway know of any others.
I feel like jumping ship is the only option I have left.

From June 1st - 14th I'm stripping down to my pixelated undies for charity! These are my opinions of other sites:

Brand new site, not a lot to do but fun I guess. *Shrug*
Solia
Very welcoming and warm community. I do really like it there. They are very kind to gaia immigrants and even have forums specifically for helping former gaians learn the ropes and get acclimated.
Syndrone Online
Cool site but kinda cliquey. Also beware, if you're not "Alternative" they'll snub you. They also don't like gaia migrates. ErnyaI haven't really spent much time on Ernya but I've heard it's nice. Click my sig to sponsor me!

While I agree that the community is kind of cliquey (not uncommon with small communities), I can't say I've experienced any of the rest. I don't know what you mean by "alternative", but I haven't been snubbed by anyone (and I don't know how I could be considered "alternative"; I'm nearing 30 and about as much of an average Joe as one can be), and I haven't encountered anyone who had an issue with the fact that I'm also a Gaian. I don't see how they could, at this point, since it seems like every other user there came from here. razz So no, I don't think it's fair to say "they" (meaning the userbase as a whole) don't like users who migrate from Gaia. There might be some individuals who have a hate on for us, but they're not representative of the site as a whole. In all honesty, I've found the community there to be very friendly and welcoming. Your mileage may vary, of course.

There's a few people that get snappish about Gaians, but that's a small part of the site. Way to base the whole on a tiny chunk =.="

That's exactly how I found Syndrone to be. Solia was completely warm and welcoming to me.
Syndrone involved a lot of rudeness, people sending me hate mail because I was from Gaia, and someone saying these exact words to me "GTFO back to your normal sites where all the kiddies play. " just because I said hi.

Subeta is really nice I've found, friendly and easy to get into. It has games and pets similar to Neopets, and there are events often it seems.
