I've seen the anime and only skimmed the manga, which my sister owns...

I love how Watase Yuu can parody her own characters. I admire that.

To tell the truth, Watase's jokes were the only slashy thing I saw in Fushigi Yugi. I don't know why, but her comics are just unslashable for me, and while I do realize that there are fandoms for quite a few pairings, I can't bring myself to actually ship them. Tasuki/Chichiri, for example - pretty popular and theoretically quite nice, yet it doesn't appeal to me at all.

There are two FY pairings I've thought of on my own, though: Miaka's brother/his friend (what were their names again?) and Seiryu/Suzaku.

Mmm Fushigi Yugi... one of my fave anime of all time. My favorite "couple" would be Suboshi and Amiboshi. Normally, I'm not really into twincest, but with them it works. Very well wink

Oh hell yes. Suboshi/Amiboshi is one of the few incest pairings I like. <33

It's been years since I've been into FY but I shall always cry...

Tatsuki/Nuriko all the way! biggrin

I do like Chichiri/Tatsuki but not nearly as much as Tatsuki/Nuriko. I think that if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have even gotten as far as I did with the series. This is reinforced by the fact that I didn't finish the series after Nuriko kicked the bucket.

Er - I don't really fangirl over TasuNuri and TasuChichi much. sweatdrop Actually, it's odd how I never paired Chichiri off with someone.

Oh, except in this fanfic with Tamahome, but that was completly by accident. XD

TWINCEST!!!!!! Ami and Subo are sooo kawaii and hawt together. And then there's the OG of FY pairings which just makes me cry no matter how cannon it is. Hotohori and Nuriko are just....... crying such a touching couple. Most of the fanfictions I have read focused on them are just so sad and angsty.

NakagoxTamahome is one of the most Goddamn sexiest pairings I've ever seen. =D The amount of times I've rewatched that episode where he kisses him... *drool*.

AmiboshixSuboshi is really adorable, it's the only incest I really like in anime/manga. Although, it does kind of worry me, because it'd be like having sex... with yourself. Which forces me to the conclusion that perhaps they're just very vain. XD
