My commission info was deleted by a gaia online moderator for being deemed indecent. Apparently my art was nsfw. So I'm not allowed to do art here anymore. If anyone is interested in still commissioning me I can no longer except gaiaonline gold or items and will be moving out of gaia permanently. Anyone who commissioned me could send me an email to MahoHaku@gmail.com to transfer commissions to cash. I will do most commissions at 15-20$ just email me and we can discuss if still interested in the commissions.
I'm very sorry my loyal followers. First my health plummets, then I struggle with classes and living, then I struggle with a job and now gaia does this to the only thing I cherished here on this site.
I'm sick and tired of this site being "we are pg 13" and then making items full of boobs and curves like comic books do which is all that I've been willing to draw that is not pg 13.
Aparently gaia is full of hypocrites and people hating on artists. I just, I can't even with this site anymore. Soul will be the soul owner of this now because I don't even want to try to get that post back.
My note to the moderator
"If you had warned me I could have removed that part of the post since I don't do those anyway. I only put it there because I was following the guideline of other popular art threads. It took me 2 weeks to make that commission info and months worth of art went into it. By deleting my post you not only disrespected the free market of gaia online but all the work I put into a post half a page long in regards to just one single line of text which I could have deleted on request. Which in itself has not harmed anyone and has been ignored by everyone considering no one has ever pm'ed me.
Anyway I will no longer be doing artwork on Gaia anymore even though I've only ever offered pg 13 and comic book styled work to Gaians since my shop has opened. Instead of treating me like a person you treated me like a criminal. If I acted that way at my place of employment I'd be fired. And not to mention I've spent hundreds of dollars online, you don't treat your loyal Gaian's like this.
Even if it's against the rules you sometimes have to do what's right and make a judgement call to keep a customer rather then be strict and lose them completely. If I was strict with every customer at my place of employment we would have no customers period. And with how bad the site has been going downhill due to gaia cash promotions you'd think you could help them out a bit by trying to KEEP gaians here rather then do stuff like this without warning.
Any case, you went strait to punishment and didn't even give warning so I'm going to close up my account and give away my things. My years here meant nothing I guess.
Anyway, I am actually now deciding on just making a new art shop or giving up on gaia. This is literally the only reason here and I don't believe this site is worth the effort to stay. Should I put one last effort in staying here and then kill myself if they do something stupid or just give up. I wish there was an easier way to just DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT. If they still had an ask the admin up I would ask for gaia to install the ability for gaian's to delete their accounts if they wanted.

I'm a little confused about what you put in your post that Gaia took offense to, but I agree that they send mixed signals on their PG-13 rule.
I'm sorry they disrespected you, it's really hurtful, especially to artists who A. go to great lengths to express themselves and help others do the same B. have to respond to the demands of their clients half the time
At least they didn't ban your account - I've heard horror stories about the silly things people get banned for, although that's probably just a cover because they're too scared to admit their actual crime half the time... Or just a rumor.
Anyways, I'd hate to see any Gaian leave on such a bad note...just because the final impression of things can stick with you for a good long while. Is there anything else you like to do on this site? Friends you keep in touch with?
❤ I vote that you make a new art shop here- I'd love to see your work.
How could the admin just to delete your thread without warning.. What happened to the old days where "politeness" was a common idea..?
Has the mod responded?
Edit: I can see why they're hypocritical- Look at the ads that they sponsor/put up..

They have already stated that they cannot delete accounts due to numeration issues.
What was the line they deemed inappropriate? You may censor words if you wish.
If it was truly an NSFW issue, I suggest sending them a list of Gaia items that are, themselves, inappropriate. (Alruna's Rose, etc) Then ask how that translates to your artwork.
* It should also be noted that intense gore actually files under R/M rates. If it was something like that, show them The Walking Dead items and the Wraak items.

Quite frankly role playing has died drastically on this site. All the people I keep in touch here with are getting older and we are all no longer teenagers or even young adults. We have lives to go work, live, and survive in on our own without (Or maybe with for some) Family guidance. I don't get much financial support so I have to work two jobs, go to school, take art commissions, work on my web comic, try to RP and try to survive with my current health issues.
If I left this site I would no longer have to take commissions that can't pay my bills, I wouldn't have to be chained to dead Rps. I wouldn't have to deal with a corporation shoving advertisements and pixels down my throat for all my hard earned paychecks that I barely survive on, I wouldn't have to deal with a market place that is corrupted to the point my art commissions here are just on par to doing art for free when I already struggle SO MUCH in IRL. There's just no future here anymore. I was stressed, upset, over worked, dying of anxiety and depression and one random day I decide to check on Gaia to find the one thing I enjoyed on this site I put a ton of effort into for my friend and I was ruined for just one simple line.
An entire post of work deleted for one line offering sexy looking drawings of OC's for IRL commissions.
1. I'm not the only artist on gaia willing to draw busty or hot looking women or pda- (Public displays of affection)
2. I am not the only one to offer IRL commissions from my art topic.
3. I never did pda or sexy drawings period despite my offer and was going to take it down after graduating since I felt I lost confidence to do such drawings.
Guess I was too slow to remove both the IRL commission offers which I really do need and to remove the offer of such drawings. I just saw a ton of other artists getting commissions more by doing it and they never got in trouble with it to my knowledge so I thought it was okay.
Extra note: That and I could only feel that they would have known only if someone tipped them. Because my post was dead for quite some time as I was waiting to graduate to get off hiatus. Someone really hates my art enough to report me on gaia and that's enough to not want to stay in itself. As no other place was reported or caught for such things despite being consistently on the first page of the art commission forum. Not to mention my forum has far more dislikes than any other art forum in the least amount of time being there and I cannot even conceive why it would be like that.

I'm so sorry to hear about all this. It seems that you had very bad times with Gaia. sad As if the mess it has become wasn't enough (Flynnflation, GC pushes, lots of silly ads, site going down in unexpected ways and so on).
You don't need to stay if you don't feel like it anymore. I'd suggest deviantART, Tumblr or even FurAffinity to post and promote your commissions. I'd go for dA since it's more convenient and you can promote your commission journals in groups specifically to this purpose.
I don't get it the dislikes. Did you post it in Chatterbox, GD or some people were impatient with you ?
I also don't get the hypocrisy of some people, when you have items like Alruna's Rose, Gro-grain (sp?), Antipathy (ugh! this gotta be THE grossiest item I ever saw), NSFW, that item that has the "IN-YOUR-END-O" description, Dancer Bottom, suspenders and etc still available.

For instance:
If anyone would like to search up items I really don't have that much time to search for things to prove my point but someone wanted me to draw their avi and it had to be NSFW to be drawn the way the avi was posed. The avatar had a person on their knees, a buff character item and a hot dog in the Avi's mouth blood all over and frosting or something. The item was extremely sexual and was made with all gaia items. I looked up the man pose item and it had several sex slave characters one even with bondage in it that gaia made.
For those avi examples you have they'd have to be NSFW to be drawn exactly how they are posed. Yet they are exactly as gaia depicted them so who is the one breaking the pg13 rules here?

Added this in my art shop to my defense
~~~~~If you would like to keep MahoHaku here please vote above. I offered nsfw work on gaia for IRL commissions since many avatars here cannot be drawn exactly as gaia made them without making them nsfw. Take for example .
Gaia very hypocritically stands by saying it's PG13 when it's items cannot even be commissioned to an artist to draw without being over PG13 rating. I had a page of commission info that I worked really hard on to make it look nice and fit in on the front page but they deleted it for one line no bigger than this "I will do nsfw art for irl commissions". Of course I will no longer offer nsfw art so if someone says "Why can't you draw my avi" I will say "Even though gaia made ______ items they will consider my art nsfw if I draw it so I'm sorry."
•Gaia has items labeled "SEXY" you can search these items highest cost to lowest
•Gaia has items featuring boobs, butts, lingerie, undies, hot dogs in the mouth and many opportunities to make pornographic avatars.
•Gaia has topics that have been around for over 3 years about sex, r.a.p.e and various other things that HAVEN'T been deleted yet despite many attempts at reporting them by various users.
•Gaia has sexualized men and women in their avis such as interns, nurses, firefighters etc. I do recall an item that had male strippers in it and another that had dominatrix bondage.
•Gaia has gory items. Just look at the undead items. Many items with blood, guts and other R rated bloodiness.
Stay here and do your art. Make sure the page is PG-13 appropriate, but also let gaia know about those avatars posted here if they give you any more trouble. Do a mule account for the art page to protect your main account. And also this... *hugs* it sounds like you are struggling. Hang in there. Life can be scary but you are not alone. Just take a deep breath. You will get through whatever it is and you will be even stronger when you are done. heart
I'm going to make this particular post about things I find that are over PG13 that gaia makes if they pull this on me again.
Feel free to quote with avatars and items to add to the list. And if you're an artist this could help defend you if your offer to draw such avatars is deemed nsfw.
I should send this to an admin and ask them how I am supposed to translate avatars like this to my art. Though I wouldn't even go as far as the Box of Totally innocent objects on gaia.emotion_donotwant
If you say ANYTHING in your posts about offering NSFW commissions or anything over PG13 even if you say that you only do them offsite, you WILL have your thread or that post deleted. That is in the art shop rules. Your sentence did not clearly state that these "Sexy looking" pictures would still be PG13 safe.
Unfortunately, while they still should have warned you, your words could easily have been taken to mean you're willing to offer porn for RLC's. Lots of art shops have similar rules and every time I see one that says they offer NSFW commissions, I report it.
I would not have reported yours but I can see why someone did.
It's the one who has the "In-YOUR-end-o!" description, and it's an infamous one, for obvious reasons. There's also Antipathy, which gotta be THE grossiest item I ever saw in the whole site, period.
xx I met my fate xx
Yeah. That's why I suggested going to dA or Tumblr to promote commissions like this, just to stay safe.
As for Gaia, I think you'll have to dance according to the music next time, despite the items I showed you.
I should have put that the nsfw would not include sex, intense gore, or fetishes. I was only implying pda, kissing, making out (Fluff) and some blood. All within a pg13-ish range. I wish they would have just asked me to clarify rather than delete an entire post. Deleting posts in my book is punishment and not a warning though. If a site is allowed to be hypocritical, harsh, cold, and uncaring as many of it's users are it's a site not worth paying cash for that's for sure.
If someone reported me they had to look really hard through my commission info to find that. Seeing how it was in tiny text in a light color to the canvas background. Seems just like a really a**-holish thing especially if you know an otherwise good post despite one tiny flaw is going to be deleted and you didn't bother to check that later in the topic they've declined a ton of art that is really nsfw. Also declining to note them yourself as a responsible person to remove something like that. Whoever reported me didn't even give me the opportunity to fix what they found uncomfortable to them and reported me right away. I must really be hated.
The art shop has been struggling with keeping prices low for improving art, getting tons of negative feedback for no reason, giving away free art, struggling with irl conflicts, trying to make everyone happy and being generally good people to the public despite personal life issues and gaia's inflation crap.
The shop opened and was "Under construction" and got 20 dislikes within the first hour before I even had it all set up yet.
I'd understand if my art were crappy, or if I cursed a lot or I harassed people. If I joked about rape or was generally a douche to deserve dislikes or post deletion. But I am not that kind of a person. Not online and not in person.
I do have Tumblr but I haven't gotten commissions there in a year. I have a Deviantart and haven't gotten commissions on DA for over 2 years despite dozens of closures and reopening and price changes and gimmicks. I have gotten no commissions on Fur affinity or twitter. The only commissions I've ever gotten for IRL or virtual currency IS Gaiaonline. Unfortunately.emotion_donotwant
Here is a link to my DA. I just don't get it. I really don't. Either the world is really out to get me or I have luck so bad that life isn't worth living. My DA
I read the whole thing, and to be fair to ya, they should have asked first - BUT Fate makes a strong point. It's not about double standards on Gaia's part, but the fact that this was a long established rule. There are artists on Gaia, including staff such as Reapersun, who do NSFW items but make absolutely damn sure to properly label any outbound links. With your saying that you offered NSFW art, you implied actual pornographic content rather than sexualized but not xxx-rated items.
While Gaia makes items that push the envelop, they never made nor will make items that cross the boundary into pornographic content for avatars. You did not properly communicate that your art would not be r-18, so that's completely on you.
