Seasons Greetings! As we have for years, Soquili is proud to present to you the Winter Workshop CYO Plushies!

• • • RULES • • •
• Each gifter (you guys) can color as many plushies as you want to.
• Each gift recipient(the one getting the gift) can only have ONE ticket for the "plushie turned real" raffle, though the amount you can be gifted it unlimited. You MUST have a plushie in your possession to get a ticket.
• The plushies can be ANY theme. biggrin
• If you choose to make someone's quest or OC into a plushie and wish to enter it in the raffle please post the gender of the plush
• You can not enter plushies from previous years - all entered plushies must be new. If you want a design from a previous year made, you must get a NEW Plush of it.
• You are allowed to have someone else color one for you - keep this privately or post in the Hopefuls thread
• You cannot Post Cosplays into the Raffle Thread. If it is a fantastical wildlife (Ex: Pokemon) it must have more to it than JUST the species traits to make it your own (Accessories etc)
• If you choose to cert your plushies they must be certed and delivered by yourself.
• You may use rl materials to color the plushie (paints, colored pencils, markers/etc) if you do not have access or can not use a digital coloring program.
• No mules - this should be common sense by now
• Plushies MUST be certed if being entered for raffle tickets

Plushies wont be picked until AFTER the thread closes. Since we're still hiring we're not sure who's coloring yet!

MAKE NOTE:
Should a colorist chose your plushie please keep in mind that the conversion may not be 100%. If a plushie is too heavily edited or a mutant it may or may not carry the traits over, or if it's unedited it may get an accessory. It's entirely up to the colorist on how they choose to interpret your plush. Colorings and markings may vary as well.

On the left we have the classic plushie that most of you have worked with in the past. In the middle we have the never been used human plushie. And on our right we have the new plushie from last year! You are free to pick from any of these or color them all!

(A) • People have been wanting more CYO, so we did a trial run with a Halloween CYO. A LOT of people wanted to keep the Christmas one around despite loving the Halloween one as well

(A) • Of course! Anything past their first plushy is just icing on the cake and additional things colorist can pick from.

(Q) • Can I actually make myself a plushie?
(A) • You can make yourself as many as you want since it doesn't drive up your tickets. But be sure to try and have fun giving plushies away as well.

(Q) • Is there a theme to the plushies I have to follow?
(A) • NOPE! Though if you want ideas, you could always make winter or holiday themed ponies.

Here's a little something designed by Mindsend you can use to make yourself nametags for your soquili for Group, Solo, and compiled AIM RPs as well as just post decorations or banners for teepees so the RP manager can easily tell (But feel free to use it for whatever reasons you want! ). If you want to use this as a base for designing a template to share, feel free to send a link to the PSD to it at "Acotas" so Mindsend can add it to the zipfolder!


Feel free to make one (or as many as you want) of your own or for your friend(s), Whether for Soquili or Any other Shop! Just do not attempt to sell it or claim the original templates as your own work.

Quick post before I go back to studying for finals --

Last year (or was it the year before? OTL) I edited the original MLP-style plush template, and I just thought I'd share it if anyone would like to use it.

It has the following edits:
- LydaLynn's flutter wings (15 sets)
- Tail feather, head feather, necklace accessories from the new plush
- Braided tail from the new plush
- "Mane style 1" tail from the new plush
- Uni horn (spiral)
- Uni tail (fluffy, not leonine)
- Kalona tail (spade)
- Kalona horns (ram)
- Kalona wings (can also be used for 'Suti?)
- Feather wings
- Kirin back scales
- Unshaded cloth edit (shown in white)
- Wavy mane style (shown)
- Sketchy wavy mane style
- Lineless spiky mane style

Edits are in layer groups, so they can easily be hidden (the lines are not all on 1 layer). This template is NOT compatible with Paint Tool SAI because there are too many layers. OTL You might also have trouble using this file if you have an older computer because there are a few hundred layers... Also, not all individual layers are labeled (the layer groups are labeled), but all base/color layers should be locked and ready to use.

I'm super excited about this! I'm gonna have to hop on my broken computer so I can use my Photoshop. My boyfriends computer doesn't have it >_<
So, what i'm picking up from what you're putting down is that we can color how many we want to give to whomever we want and if we want to submit them for a raffle (1 per person) they have to be certed. Am I missing anything? Oh and we can use any of the line arts posted in the thread to choose from correct. Like the Alicorn or Angenicorn, etc.

Oh, you can gift more than one plushie to a person I believe *lemmie know if this is wrong =0*. Its just you can only have one post in the raffle thread.

Also, you can edit and mix n match the templates how ever you want nwn! But there usually aren't mutants<3. That doesn't mean you can't go wild and crazy with the plushies though lol.


And I am totally psyched about plushies again too! Pluuuuuusssshhhiiiieeeeessss *u*

So question for all - Last year I think this question got lost somewhere along the line, so here's trying again xd I saw some plushes floating around with Kalona wings Type 3... Does anybody have or know where to find that particular template set to download for the second plush type?

I THINK they were made by a staff member/guest colorist using the actual wing template so wouldnt be available to the regular public, if I'm remembering correctly. Do you have an example?

Just a few questions - that i'm sorry if they're super obvious XD

1] You can color a plush on nearly any lines provided, does that mean the plush will be converted onto those lines if chosen? Or will they be downgraded if certain lines are only obtainable through certain means?

2] OK! So I have this OC of sorts, who's a poke mash up of two different pokemon! Dewbasaur - Would he qualify as a cosplay? Even though he's technically not a real pokemon and has tributes from two different pokes plus a few edits of my own choosing? I just want to check before someone is kind enough to color him for me ^^;

1) usually it tends to be medium edits and a rare breed, however we try occasionally to do a "Best of" that end up with the mutations/species shown. Its less likely to get BUT possible.

2) I PERSONALLY have no issue with "Fictional Wildlife" as long as they are treated as Original characters and have other things added to them (personal hairstyles, accessories and so on) But even if we didn't, hybrids like that are sort of personal OC's so we wouldnt really count things like your hybrid or personal Fakemon's or things like "Venotails" (venonat-Ninetails hybrid) as long as they're all given the special snowflake treatment. Just like its impossible to say no to all the black leopards in existence haha.
