Halloween cookies in the oven.

A Nightmare on Elm Street marathon on TV with hubby snuggled up on the couch, a fire going in the fireplace and kitty curled up nearby.

That's my Halloween this year. How about you?

Nice! I just got done taking the kids trick-or-treating and now we're watching Coraline. I haven't seen it before but heard it was creepy and good.

I took my nephew trick-or-treating. I wore this freaking awesome witch's costume I made and had a pumpkin pail to use as a purse and to transfer my nephew's candy when his pail got too heavy for him (he's only 3 so it doesn't take a lot of candy to be too heavy).

Some people though I was trick-or-treating too and threw candy in my pail so I got a little something-something out of it! rofl

I liked it, though some might call it a simple read

Sometimes simpler is better. I like things I can sit down and read in just a day or two. heart

Today, I went to the supermarket with my dad to buy things. It was a good walk.

Other than that, it was just a day like the others. xd

Halloween is not a much popular holiday in my country, so I got here to celebrate with you, folks.

So, the pizza was delish, the cocktail weiners are addictive and the cookies were yummy. Hubby enjoyed them so much, in fact, that our cuddle time on the couch lasted exactly two hours before I began to hear his all-too-familiar light snores.

The kitty, however, never bothered to stir and is still curled up by the fire.

So here I sit with Freddy Krueger in the background, munching on my tenth-too-many cocktail weiner with a sleeping husband and a laptop recounting my night with friends on Gaia.

Pretty good night, I must say. smile

We went to a pet-friendly halloween party with friends. I think most of the four-leggers looked cuter than some of the two-leggers. LOLOL Good times with lots of snacks and goodies.

My older kids took charge of Halloween this year ... putting up the decorations, carving their pumpkins and putting together the costumes they wore while passing out treats. I put together the treat bags (a variety of suckers, PB kisses and spider/skull rings) and toasted the pumpkin seeds a couple of nights ago. Today I made a pot of my traditional Halloween dinner, "ghoul-lash" topped with grated parmesan, of which we enjoyed after closing up shop. Yum!
