CURRENT LESSON This is where the lesson info will be so be sure to read this so you know what you need to do for the classwork and homework.
LESSON TWO - SALAMANDERS salamanders are classified as xxx level beasts
The salamander is a small fire dwelling lizard that feeds on flames. They are born out of flames, specifically called salamander fires, and appear to be blue or red depending on the heat of the flames. They live as long as the flames that spawned them.
The salamander can survive outside out of the flames that birthed it for up to six hours if fed on pepper. Salamander blood has powerful regenerative and curative properties. Muggle world salamanders are amphibians, not lizards, and have no affinity for fire. It's unknown if salamanders can shed their skin like Muggle world salamanders.
There are different types of salamanders. the different types of salamanders are red blue scarlet ice amazon.
The Frost Salamander is a special kind of salamander that, instead of dwelling in fire, is closely associated with ice. Frost Salamanders are particularly vulnerable to the Incendio spell, but are resistant to Verdimillious and Vermillious.
The Amazonian Salamander is a special kind of salamander which is green. This difference of color is explained by the original place of this creature, the Amazon Rainforest. However, it seems that certain Amazonian Salamanders always have their original color, the red. Amazonian Salamanders are particularly vulnerable to the Petrificus Totalus spell, the Spongify spell and the Glacius spell. However, they are resistant to Diffindo and Incendio.
te scarlet salamander is also weak against the same spells as the amazonian salamander and resistant to the same spells it is purple because of where its habitat in peru .

i have released seveal fire salamanders in the classroom catch them and put them in the fire place each student can catch up to 5 salamanders each student has 5 health if you hit 0 you are done catching salamanders to catch a salamander roll 1 ten sided dice then refer to this table 1-2 you miss catching them and fall hurting your self for 1 point of damage 3-4 you grab the salamander but forget the extreme heat and burn your self for 3 damage 5-6 you get the salamander into the fire place with 1 damage but decide that you are done with these salamanders 7-8 the salamander is thrown in the fire with no damage you continue to hunt salamanders unles you have reached your limit 9-10 you catch 2 salamanders put them in the fire place and decide to continue unless you already have your limit double points
