The force of the explosion may depend on the intent of the caster. this is a very useful spell in combat it only works on objects though if you cast it at a living thing it will fail but the items around them are very good targets by exploding the objects around them you cause two things to happen first they no longer have a item to throw/hide behind and 2 the shrapnel from the item exploding can cause them to take minor wounds that may be fatal it will also cause them to be distracted at the very least making them an easier opponent to disarm and subdue or escape from. Suggested etymology: Latin expulso meaning to "drive out, expel, force out, banish."
