Now I just wanted to ask that question in this Guild as something has caught my eye on ATA just today when I was browsing through it, A young girl put up a post there saying that She was getting abusive and horrid pm's from people that don't support GC after she played a paid game of Smash Blox! You can read it here!In it she has said that in the pm's she has been called horrid names and people have used vulgar language and that they demanded her not to buy GC anymore! Now my point of this post is that I don't think that is acceptable, it's upto her if she wants to buy GC or not, we shouldn't turn into nasty idiots that bully everyone into not buying GC and if this is the case then I am hanging up my SOS Sign for good as I don't want to classed as a bully at all! We all have morals and manners ^^ Maybe we could spread a message to others that to do this cause justice we should not go around bullying Gaia Cash Users at all?

Agreed here. that's not the right Idea of getting our message across. instead, we need to find other ways to encourage other not buy GC by showing examples from another Website that tales bad things. and.. meet on another website that we can discuss our plan on.

I don't know why you're associating this "we", here, as I haven't seen anything from the guild promoting harassing cash users at all.
I really don't know what this has to do with the guild or people against Cash pushing as a whole. You can't control every individual. People act out on their own. That's just a thing to anticipate from them.

I agree with Vic. I've never seen anyone or anything lately from the guild supporting attacking GC users, or for that matter anyone that's lately posted anything stating that they will do anything like it. I'd be careful lumping the guild in with a few angry people lashing out at users, because it makes us look like we're admitting to something we didn't do.

While this is unfortunate and upsetting, harassment is not a stance that our guild takes, and it is not a behavior that we would condone or allow. If I were to find out that any member of our guild was involved in such a thing, that individual would be removed from our ranks, but as previously stated, this is NOT a guild action. We do not endorse it in any way, and the action(s) of Gaia users are those of an individual, not those of our group. Our guild has never taken a stance against GC, but rather the manner in which Gaia has chosen to center the site around it. I will refer everyone to our Guild Rules, and if anyone has questions or would like any additional information, please do not hesitate to message me personally. Thanks!

We all have morals and manners ^^ Maybe we could spread a message to others that to do this cause justice we should not go around bullying Gaia Cash Users at all? I read that post. I think that what was actually happening was that some people became incensed because she is a very good player and they were trying to bully her out of the game in order to get rid of the competition. What she was mainly complaining about was that they told her not to play. I doubt that buying Gcash was the issue, since the bullying players are probably buying it themselves. They can't win at Smashbox without cash, and most people don't have the time or patience to collect it from the video offers. If they are avid players, they are paying out a lot of cash. So I think that if they told her not to buy cash, they were jumping on an excuse, to distract her from the real issue, which is that she has a right to play Smashbox, even if others are angry because she wins so often. I do not believe that anybody from this guild behaves in this manner. I certainly wouldn't.

I'm not actually referring the actual Guild, but other users out there that are supporting the No Gaia Cash movement, I have noticed that a few have been taking it too far in some topics/posts {and none of which I recognize from this Guild} What I'm trying to say is maybe those are the people that we need to educate aswell, that all of us in this Guild should tell them that we don't really tolerate bullying people to not buy GC in that manner and that isn't the way we do things.....^^;

I'm sorry for giving that impression, maybe I'm a little afraid that some one would do that, I'm not accusing this Guild or anything, I think this guild is pretty good! ^^ I just wanted to pass the message out that maybe we should just somehow pass the message along that even though we don't support GC, we don't tolerate bullying either and that if we see some of our fellows bullying others then we will not hesitate to report them smile

" As I stated in my earlier post, we neither condone nor allow harassment or bullying of any kind. To my knowledge, there has not been one member of this guild to do either of those. We adhere not only to our own Guild Rules, but also Gaia's TOS at all times. So again, rest assured that this is NOT a guild action, and we're far from being viewed as a group of so-called "bullies."

I'm sorry about dissapearing like that, I was getting around to speaking with you Xiva, I am no good at explaining things when I am not face to face with someone sweatdrop I just go out and say my feelings, I am worried that people will do just that, take it in their own hands and act that way and I just don't want that to happen sad I guess I'm letting my anxiety's get the better of me, I was bullied on the internet just recently myself and I kinda feel sorry for anyone that's getting harassed...... sad

More than anything, I was watching out for you and your well-intentioned post so that others might not take offense in feeling as though "we" inferred this guild and its members. Rest assured, I and my Revolution staff keep a close eye on things in the best interest of everyone involved with our collective movement. I find myself amazed most times with the integrity and respect of the 1000+ members we have with us now. We're all in the same boat here, and I can only attempt to assure that you have no need to be anxious at all about anything like you've mentioned ever being a part of what this guild stands for. I give you my personal promise of this.

I agree. though it's the GC users who got us here in the first place......we shouldn't bully them at all! it's their money!
We should be peaceful and patient, o on that, i completely agree with you!
I feel ashamed that some people could become so fanatical about a cause that is supposed to help the gaians, not hinder. They put our name in the mud, pulling crap like that.

when i first read it i took the same way that it seemed like you were including all of Revolution : Gaia. there are always going to be bullies no matter where we go, and I bet a lot of those smashbox players were envious that she was so good at it and also believe they were doing it just to get to her stop playing. While we are against GC buying we also don't try to force our ideals on anyone.

Madame Xiva ...Our guild has never taken a stance against GC, but rather the manner in which Gaia has chosen to center the site around it. ... I saw that remark in the AtA, but luckily the Admins who attend it haven't stooped to lumping serious protest with trolls. It does seem a bit odd that all references to the CEO have been removed, including the one's) by Sisky - that DOES seem to be a serious policy change. I would keep an eye out at AtA, for any more such shifts. I thought the attributions to the new CEO were sloppy at first, but there is now clearly a policy change. (Also note that this CEO mde a profile and stopped right there, went no farther in exploring/learning about the site he 'leads.')

That just makes me shake my head. History has shown soft voices and peaceful protests of many people en masse accomplish far more than aggressive extremists. You get more people on your side by befriending the neutrals, not scaring them off. Michelle Chiba Agreed here. that's not the right Idea of getting our message across. instead, we need to find other ways to encourage other not buy GC by showing examples from another Website that tales bad things. and.. meet on another website that we can discuss our plan on. Oh snap, you done gone and brought Neopets into this! Neopets is actually the best demo of the direction Gaia is headed. I had joined back when I was 12 and it was fun at first but then they started censoring everything that made it enjoyable. One of the things I loved to do in the forums was little contests and quizzes with prizes. Everyone would have an equal and fair chance to win something, all promised items were given, and no one had to do anything but answer a couple random trivia questions or just be the first to post something. All of it was PG and everything. Then I got warnings for "scamming" because threads like that were against the ToS and was even temp-banned for a day. I floated in the internet ether after that until Gaia came along. Did you ever hear the controversy over Neopet's Lutari Islands? It's an exclusive area only paid subscribers can access. Sounds a lot like Club Verge.....
