But she was coping.
In the form of trying to keep busy and not dwell on it. The issue was that, now, she was stuck on a reserve. There was only so much one could do about that. She didn't intend to let herself get out of shape or lazy while deciding the proper course of action to handle all of the issues she saw. That meant resting or relaxing more than the usual was out. But sparing wasn't easy when she could count the fellow denizens of the realm she knew on a single hand. No, none of this was all that promising for Asteria. It meant she was left sitting on a tree trunk, legs crossed, as she tried to come up with ways to not be stuck on old tasks.
Sure, she could go hunt down a fellow horseman and drag them into a fight. See who won. But that wouldn't make for the best impression, nor would it really create a permanent solution. Rather, she'd end up avoided.
So perhaps it was time to strike up some conversations, make some friends, comrades as it was, and figure out how to solve all of the issues instead. ...and only punch someone if absolutely necessary. She just needed to find someone to begin the plan of sorts with first.
