Hey girls, I need some (more) help.

I've been considering opening up a chibi shop, strictly chibi.
I've been doing them for free to get in some practice but now... I kind of
want to make some money doing it.

I just don't know what they should be worth....
I originally thought 5k when I started, but then I got a little better
at them and thought maybe 10k?
I asked someone who received a freebie and they said 50k
xD Uhhh, it's a nice gesture but I doubt anyone would pay that much
for a bad chibi.

Anyways, I want to know what you guys think?

I would say make a price scale according to complexity.

Simple poses with few items could be 5000GG, while an avi with an action pose and/or medium complexity of items could go for 7500-10,000GG.

This means an avi with the more detailed getups would cost up to... let's say 20,000 for excruciating detail.

Additional avis in the pic would be an extra charge, but how much is up to you.

I think you can easily ask for 20k a pop. Maybe 15k if it's a really simple avatar. These days gold isn't that hard to make anymore and really 15-20k isn't a lot to ask for your art. It's cute, compact and nicely colored. You could definitely get away with more than that, but I can understand if you'd rather wait on that until you've had more practice. I certainly think you can at least bump it up to 10k if you believe that's what it is worth, but I know you can get 15k minimum and more. Let me know when you start selling, I'd love a chibi. 4laugh

I agree with Yokies, you could easily get 20k for those o 3o to be honest, even more, especially if you make them a bit bigger and with more detailed colouring
