Quote:
Centurion warsuits turn Space Marines into walking tanks and are commonly split into one of two types of squad. Centurion Devastator Squads are long-range specialists who pound enemy positions with salvos of heavy weapons fire, whilst Centurion Assault Squads excel at storming enemy fortifications.

This 3 man kit makes either the Centurion Devastator or Assault variant, as well as providing every weapon and upgrade available to both units. Before deciding which squad to make, be sure to have a close look at the photos above. The plastic frames are absolutely crammed with parts.

Before you add the specific weapon combinations you need to build the bodies. There are 3 distinct torsos; 3 individual sets of legs; 6 unique shoulder pad designs; and 7 heads (3 bare, and 4 helmeted) to choose from.

The Centurion Devastator Squad's arms can be equipped with either twin-linked heavy bolters, twin-linked lascannons; or grav cannons and grav-amps. The chest plates can be armed with either a hurricane bolter or a missile launcher.

The Centurion Assault Squad members are equipped with a siege drill on each arm, and have the choice of mounting either twin-linked flamers, or twin-linked meltaguns as well. The chest plates can be armed with either ironclad assault launchers or a hurricane bolter.

To add the finishing touches to your squad there is an additional helmet plume to make it clear who the Sergeant is; an omniscope; an eagle back banner; purity seals; and an iron halo.

The Space Marine range is designed so that all of the plastic parts can be swapped between different kits. Whilst the Centurion Devastator Squad is a really unique unit all the heads can be interchanged with those of the rest of the Space Marine range. As can the myriad extra pieces of equipment that can be found in other Space Marine kits, allowing the opportunity to create truly unique collections of miniatures.

Space Marine Sternguard Veterans

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Quote:
Sternguard Veterans are drawn from a Chapter's prestigious 1st Company. Deploying wherever the battle is fiercest, they particularly excel in the use of ranged weaponry.

The 5 man Sternguard Veteran Squad comes with a massive amount of variety and options, providing every opportunity to create a unique squad, befitting their role as some of the Space Marines finest heroes.

This set includes 5 different pairs of legs; 5 individual torso fronts; 13 unique heads (7 helmeted and 6 bare); 16 individual shoulder pads; and 5 unique backpacks.

When it comes to picking the weapons your options are many and varied. There are 6 individual boltguns; 2 different storm bolters; the option to include a heavy flamer or a heavy bolter; a flamer; a meltagun; a plasma gun; a power fist; 8 combi-bolters (2 each of melta, flamer, plasma, or grav); a grav pistol; a plasma pistol; and finally, a trusty bolt pistol.

And that's not all! There is an additional helmet plume that can be added to the squad Sergeant, as well as the choice of equipping him with either a chainsword or sheathed power sword. There are enough parts to equip the entire squad with frag and krak grenades, and there is a selection of ammo pouches; an auspex; a backpack icon; and even a combat knife (just in case back-up for the massive range of guns is required).

Space Marine Vanguard Veterans

Quote:
Deployed as fast-moving rapid-response forces, Space Marine Vanguard Veterans are close-combat specialists. These veterans of the 1st Company take to war propelled by jump packs and armed with the Chapter's most ancient and revered melee weapons.

The 5 man Space Marine Vanguard Veteran Squad are sculpted with a great sense of action and energy and contains a huge variety of weapon options with which to arm the unit.

When building the squad there are 5 different sets of running legs; 5 unique torso fronts; 16 different shoulder pads; 9 heads (8 helmeted, 1 bare); and 5 individual jump packs.

Every member of the squad can be armed with either chainsword and bolt pistol (each individual weapon bears a unique design); there are 4 sets of lightning claws; 4 pairs of thunder hammer and storm shield. The Sergeant has choice of relic blade, power sword, power fist or power axe; and there is also a grav pistol; a plasma pistol; a melta bomb; and a selection of frag and krak grenades.

The Space Marine range is designed so that all of the plastic parts can be swapped between different kits. Depending on how they are assembled, this box set can make hundreds of varieties of Vanguard Veterans. If you want your squad to include alternative shoulder pads, heads or weapons then grab them from any other Space Marine plastic kit and they'll fit. This allows the opportunity for truly unique collections of miniatures.

Space Marine Stalker / Hunter tank

Quote:
Whether you choose to assemble a Stalker or a Hunter, this kit will create an anti-aircraft tank to be feared and admired. The Space Marine Stalker can target multiple enemies, stitching the skies with a hail of armour piercing bullets. The Space Marine Hunter, meanwhile, scours the enemies from the skies with its surface-to-air missiles.

This box set provides the option to make either the Space Marine Stalker, or the Space Marine Hunter. The main weapon of the Space Marine Stalker is the Icarus stormcannon array; whilst the Skyspear missile launcher is the primary gun of the Space Marine Hunter. Whichever version you choose to make, there are options to include re-enforced armour on the sides of the tank, as well as pneumatic pins along the base.

Both variants are built upon the Space Marine Rhino hull which is included in this box. This includes a back ramp which can be left unglued so that it opens and closes; interior detail including a control panel with spare boltgun; and 2 side hatches that can be glued open or closed.

Also included is a sprue of vehicle upgrades with which even more detail can be added to the model. There are a choice of 2 top hatches (1 of which has the option to mount a storm bolter); enough parts to make either a Space Marine gunner within a turret, or an automated weapons system; a hunter killer missile; a pintle-mounted storm bolter; a sensor array; a searchlight; 2 smoke launchers; 2 towing hooks; and a name plate for the tank.

The Space Marine range is designed so that all of the plastic parts can be swapped between different kits. The Space Marine Stalker is no exception, as it uses the Rhino hull in its construction many of the parts found on other Space Marine vehicles can be added to this, allowing the opportunity to create truly unique collections of miniatures.

Space Marine Tactical Squad

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Quote:
Tactical Squads are the backbone of any Space Marine army. They hold ground; provide fire support and charge into bloody melees, as the ever-changing theatre of war dictates.
This box contains everything you need to make a highly personalised 10 man Tactical Squad, including Sergeant and Special Weapon. There are so many options and extra details provided that we recommend that you take some time to look through the photos above to fully appreciate them all.

Space Marines

In order to build the Tactical Squad you get 11 torso fronts (of which 10 are unique designs); 10 different leg poses; 16 different heads (13 with helmets, 3 bare-headed); 22 shoulder pads; 10 backpacks (of which 9 are individual designs); and 10 sets of left and right arms.

Weapons

There are 10 unique boltguns, a gravgun, a meltagun, a plasma gun, a flamer, a missile launcher (including backpack and spare missiles). The squad Sergeant can be armed with a combination of power fist, power sword or chainsword, and plasma pistol, grav pistol or bolt pistol. You can also make any 1 of the following combi-bolters - combi-grav, combi-melta, combi-plasma, or combi-flamer. The squad can also be armed with a melta bomb, a selection of combat knives, and enough Frag and Krak grenades to arm each Space Marine.

Extra equipment

As if that wasn't enough, you also get: a back banner for the squad sergeant (with the choice of 3 different banner tops); a holstered bolt pistol; targeting scopes for the boltguns; parchments and purity seals; ammo pouches; an auspex; and 3 spare hands (1 pointing, 1 holding a grenade, and 1 holding a boltgun cartridge).

This multi-part plastic kit contains 8 components with which to make a Space Marine Captain armed with a power sword and combi-grav gun. There are 2 head options available - one with a plumed helmet, the other bare. There is also the option to add an iron halo to the bare head.

They are capable of using their minds to throw powerful energy bolts, project force-shields, or even redirect bullets.

This multi-part plastic kit contains 9 components with which to make a Space Marine Librarian armed with a force stave. It also features an optional Warrior Cherub.

This kit comes supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.

Quote:
A Chaplain may join a Command Squad to exhort his fellow battle-brothers to fight to the best of their ability. These retinues contain veterans whose combat skills are matched by their tactical and strategic brilliance.

This plastic box set contains everything required to make a Space Marine Reclusiam Command Squad. This includes a new plastic Chaplain, armed with a crozius arcanum and bolt pistol, which is currently only available with this box set. There are two head options available (1 with skull helmet, and 1 bare head); and he stands on a shattered Aquila.

The Command Squad contains enough parts to make 1 Space Marine sergeant; 1 apothecary; 1 company champion; 1 company standard bearer; and 1 Veteran armed with either flamer, meltagun, or plasma gun.

Also included is a Space Marine Razorback whose main turret can be armed with either twin-linked lascannons or twin-linked heavy bolters.

The Space Marine range is designed to be interchangeable. Also included is 1 Space Marine transfer sheet with which to add Chapter iconography and squad markings, and 1 Space Marine vehicle transfer sheet with which to add vehicle markings.

This box set comes supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.

As previously posted in the Space Marines thread, a Chapter Tactics preview!

Chapter Tactics

Successor Chapters - You use the Chapter Tactics of your parent chapter. The ONLY Exception is the Black Templars.

Homebrew Chapters - You can pick any Chapter Tactic you want and use the Special Characters of that chapter. Those characters have to use the same Chapter Tactics as the same Chapter their from.

Allies - "A Space Marine Detachment that has one set of Chapter Tactics MAY ally with another Space Marine Detachment with a different set of Chapter Tactics, Ultramarines and Raven Guard for example. For purposes of the Allies rules these allies are treated as being from two different codexes and are treated as Battle Brothers. Note that you may field models from two different chapters that have the same Chapter Tactics, such as Ultramarines and Praetors of Orpheus in the same detachment. These chapters are so closely affiliated that they count as a single army on the battlefield."

Counts-as: If you want to use Vulkan in a Ultramarines army you have to use the Salamander Chapter Tactics. So you CAN do "counts-as" of any specific chapter but you lock yourself into their Chapter Tactics. In short, Special Characters are locked to their specific Chapter Tactics

Ultramarines - Combat Doctrine: This detachment can utilize each of the following combat doctrines once per game. To do so at the start of your turn you state which combat doctrine you wish to use, if any, until the start of your next turn. You can only use one combat doctrine per turn.

Tactical: Units in this detachment re-roll ones while shooting, unless they're tactical marines and they re-roll all failed to hit rolls in the shooting phase.
Assault: Units in this detachment can re-roll their charge range. Assault squads, bikes, or attack bikes instead have the fleet rule.
Devastator: Units in this detachment may re-rolls to-hit on snap shots, including overwatch shots, in addition models in this detachment's Devastator squads have the relentless unless they disembarked from a transport in their movement phase.

White Scars - Both of the following:
Born in the Saddle: Models in this detachment with the Bike Unit Type automatically pass Dangerous Terrain tests, and recieve a +1 to their Jink Cover Saves. In addition add 1 to their Strength when resolving their Hammer of Wrath hits.
Fight on the Move: Models in this Detachment have the Hit and Run Special Rule. Note that this does not include models in Terminator Armor, Devastator Centurions or Assault Centurions.

Imperial Fists - Both of the following:
Bolter Drill: Models in this detachment may re-roll all to-hit rolls of 1 made with a bolt pistol, boltgun, stormbolter, heavy bolters, or combi-weapons that are firing as boltguns. This rule does not apply to Hellfire, Kraken, Vengence or Dragonfire rounds.
Siegemasters: Models in this detachment in Devastator squads and Centurion Devastator squads have the Tank Hunter special rule and add +1 when rolling on the building damage table.

Black Templars - Both of the following:
Accept Any Challenges, No Matter the Odds: When engaged in a challenge, Black Templar Characters reroll all failed to-hit rolls, and have the Rending Special Rule.
Crusaders: Black Templars have the Crusader and Adamantium Will Special Rules. In addition Black Templars have access to a special unit called a Crusader Squad.

Iron Hands - Both of the following:
The Flesh is Weak: Models in this detachment have the Feel no Pain on a 6+ Special Rule. Note that if they benefit from more than one instance of Feel no Pain they use the best version available.
Machine Empathy: All vehicles and characters in this detachment have the It Will Not Die special rule even though vehicles do not have Chapter Tactic special rules. Furthermore, Techmarines and Masters of the Forge in this detachment add +1 to their Blessing of the Omnissiah rolls.

Salamanders - Both of the following:
Flamecraft: Models in this detachment can re-roll their saving throws against wounds caused by flamer weapons as defined by the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook. Furthermore, flame weapons used by models in this detachment re-roll failed to-wound rolls and armor penetration rolls that don't cause a glancing or a penetrating hit.
Master Artisan: During the army selection each character in this detachment may upgrade one of his weapons, even one they have purchased as an upgrade, to have the Mastercrafted Special Rule at no additional cost.

Raven Guard - Both of the following:
Strike from the Shadows: Models in this detachment have the Scout Special Rule. In addition, on the first game turn, models in this detachment have the Stealth Special Rule. Note that units that include models with the Bulky or Very Bulky Special Rules do not benefit from either rule.
Wings of Deliverance: Jump Infantry Models in this detachment may use their Jump Packs in both the movement and assault phases of the same turn. Futhermore, they must re-roll all failed to-wound rolls caused by their Hammer of Wrath hits.

Still, it'll be interesting to see what GW has concocted when the Blood Angels get an update. My only friend I have to play against is tyranids so you can imagine how excited I am to see if theres anything extra to combat him. ><
