9th Anniversary Warlord Traits Contest
Think the rulebook Warlord Traits are boring? Still waiting for your codex to update with its own? Don't wait! Come up with your own table of Warlord Traits, either for all armies or for one that hasn't come out yet! As with all contest entries, a submitted entry in any category will earn you one ticket for the Anniversary Raffle.
What are the requirements?
-Table of 6 possible traits
-Identify if it is for a specific army
-Keep it realistic, not too OP
How do I enter?
Send your entry by PM to Commissar Victoria with the subject "Warlord Traits Contest".
What are the prizes?
First Place: 50,000 gold
Second Place: 30,000 gold
Third Place: 20,000 gold
Poll Winner: 20,000 gold
When do you stop taking entries?
The cutoff for entries is midnight on the night of Friday, 13 September. The poll will run from Saturday, 14 September through midnight on the night of Monday, 16 September. Results from both the judged entries and poll entry will be posted on Tuesday, 17 September.

Entrants
Lt. Brookman Codex: Imperial Guard Unflinching Resolve - Friendly Codex: Imperial Guard units within 12” of the Warlord are Stubborn and may re-roll failed Leadership tests using the Warlord’s unmodified Leadership value. Sharpshooters - Friendly Codex: Imperial Guard units within 6” of the Warlord may re-roll any to hit rolls of 1 once. City Fighters - Friendly Codex: Imperial Guard units have the Move Through Cover special rule if moving through ruins. For the Emperor! - The Warlord and his unit have the Furious Charge special rule. Macharian Cross Holder - Whilst the Warlord is alive, all friendly units have +1 modifier to their reserve rolls and may re-roll the result of their Outflank roll. Fire For Effect! - Once per game the warlord may call in an artillery strike with the following stats: S9 AP3 Ordnance Barrage D6
Van Evok Sisters of Battle, since they dont have proper codex now: 1.In Emperor we trust: Character and any unit she joins are able to re-roll failed armor saves. 2.Suffer not the witch to live: Character and any unit she joins are able to always focus fire on a psyker target provided any model in the unit has LOS to that psyker. 3.Only in death does duty end: Character and any unit she joins are gain special rules: fearless and feel no pain(5+). 4.Smite Thy enemies: Character always inflicts instant death on enemies she fights. Should enemy be immune to instant death, she always hits and wounds automatically instead. 5.Emperor's Wrath: Character and any unit she joins can re-roll failed to hit and to wound rolls in both shooting and melee. 6,Emperor protects! : Character and any units she joins are completely immune to enemy psychic powers, and gain +1 to any saving throws (still 1 always fails).
The Telling Truth The Wronged - Chaos Space Marine Chapter Command TraitsThere are all area effects centered on your Warlord and spreading out to affect friendly units within 12 inches. Note that this does includes allies that are Battle Brothers! -We are the Wronged: Add one (1) inch to all unit movements in the AoE including units with the Slow and Purposeful special rule. -Bless the Children: Enemies in range roll the lowest Ld in the unit each turn while inside the AoE. -Children of the Broken: Units in the AoE re-roll failed to-wound rolls and armor penetration rolls that don’t cause a glancing or a penetrating hit. -Upon Broken Wings: All enemy units in the AoE use Slow and Purposeful special rule. -We are Birthed Forth: Units within the AoE pass though cover and use the Blind special rule on enemy models within six (6) inches of the cover in which they passed though. -Her Infernal Might: Units within the AoE gain the Preferred Enemy special rule. If enemy army contains Allies, they are not included in the Preferred Enemy special rule. |
