Dolls.

That's the first thing you see in the classroom. Rows and rows of dolls. Dolls in boxes, dolls out of boxes, dolls in poses, dolls being held up by plastic stands, dolls riding in cars, dolls suntanning at the beach, dolls ball-dancing, dolls working...

Dolls line the walls. There's so many it's a bit unnerving. Behind the dolls the walls are a soft lavender. The desks in the class are lined up neatly in several rows. The white board and bulletin board are decorated with pink flowers and posters of Barbie movies from years ago.

The teacher's desk is extremely neat and organized, though a few things seem a bit odd; there's a homework outbox, a sleek pink laptop, a paperback history book, a photo of two young girls, a game guide to a popular apocalypse-themed video game, and a thick fantasy book lying open across a stack of papers; the only thing on the desk that lies astray.

The whiteboard reads:

Welcome to the History of Espionage classroom! I hope you enjoy your time here. Don't worry, we'll talk about other things that aren't history-related. Please take a seat if you're early.

xoxo,
