Lifen's company was always welcome. Nergui was slow to form lasting bonds, but she considered Lifen a friend. The conquest mare was offered a soft smile as Nergui took the offered package, sliding it over the table and opening the lid. "What's this?" The contents matched the other woman's words. "I do enjoy tea, thank Lifen. You didn't have to bring anything, your company alone is a nice enough treat." Gently she replaced the lid, smoothing her fingers over the top before folding her hands into her lap.
An almost impish sort of smile over took delicate features as the other mare's question, and dark shoulders lifted just a touch, not quite a shrug. "You could say that. Soren escorted me to the prom." She ducked her head, rolling her lower lip between pearly teeth as she recalled the events of that night, both during the dance and after. "I believe my feelings for the stallion are reciprocated." It was luck that had seen the priestess in her own home that afternoon. Luck that she hadn't been with the guardian, as she was most of the time as of late. "It is both exciting and utterly terrifying, but I find it challenging to keep from smiling."
If the mare were to be honest with herself it was the happiest she could recall having ever been in the stretch of her adult life.
"And you, Lifen? Anything exciting or new to report?"
