My thoughts on: God in politics.

People often turn to their gods in times of war or international politics. But is that a good thing?

When America fought Britain for independence, I'm sure America prayed to God for independence just as much as the British prayed to God to let them keep America as their own.

Here is a simpler example. Suppose a man is being chased by a hungry bear. Suppose the man is mentally praying to God to be saved or spared, while the bear is praying "Dear Lord, thank you for the delicious meal I am about to eat".

Straight up, I don't care what people do in their spare time. I am interested in learning what a bear would believe is a deity, though.

I'm actually Canadian, but I did a little homework, and I really dont think your country has any idea what the heck it's talking about when it crosses religion and politics, and certainly not in America in general. No offence, but tell me if you know half of what Seth here says about religion, politics and America.

My point is if there are any gods, if they were sensible they certainly wouldn't want to side with any one nation because they couldn't do so without pissing off a bunch of other nations. Each nation wants what it wants and would likely pray for it's own selfish benefit.
