Is it better the second time around?

So i just started to rewatch two animes that I absolutely love! I started with the Story of Saiunkoku, oh my goodness I miss watching it. I only got up to episode four but I was smiling and laughing when I was watching it. For some reason I just can't get into these new animes that are airing. Watching old ones just seem to be much better because you already seen it and thus you are not looking to judge it and wonder if you should drop it or not. But I think one would get that feeling if they haven't rewatched it so many times in a row. I don't think i watched Saiunkoku at all last year so maybe that is why I am enjoying it so much.

I'm rewatching that and Hakuoki, I like the second season better but I wanted to start from the very beginning......well close to the beginning since they have that "third" season which is the prequel of the first season and I have yet to watch it.

Anyways though, what's on your rewatch list this year? If you have one that is.

Wolf's Rain, Yu-Gi-Oh! only subbed, FMA(both versions), Elven Lied, Inuyasha(watching it on toonami), Soul Eater(if i manage to find it at the con in May).......and then just watching anything on my list of anime's to watch. that's it so far

i know we are discussing re watching animes but there is this really great manga that i have read 6 times XD its called girl got game and its about a girl who is pretending to be a boy to follow her dream of meeting her basketball idol and she ends up meeting the guy and falling in love its kind of a gender bender but its the first and only sporty type manga ive gotten into its a pretty short series maybe 7 or 8 books long and now im just rambling about how much i love it lol so yeah good times

My rewatch list is kind of odd since I mostly end up rewatching stuff that friends have never seen and want to check out. Off the top of my head:
- Wolf's Rain
- Summer Wars
- Cowboy Bebop
- Suzumiya Haruhi (2006/2009/Disappearance)
- Natsume Yuujinchou
- Revolutionary Girl Utena (series and movie)
- Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV/EoE/Rebuild 1 & 2)
- Toradora!
- Bunny Drop
- Baccano!

There's also FMA 2003 and Lain that I need to finish rewatching, Tiger & Bunny since the BDs are finally coming out, and Tokyo Godfathers since it's such a great Christmas anime. I'd also like to find a chance to rewatch Paranoia Agent and Moribito, but I don't know whether or not I'll be able to make that work. Hopefully!

Rewatching series is really great, though. You notice things that didn't stand out the first time around (and sometimes scenes get cast in an entirely different light when you consider later events), and watching your friend(s) experience everything for the first time can be a lot of fun.

I usually am not a big fan of rewatching and rereading things, but I think I'ma refresh myself with Bleach and Inuyasha. It's been a while since I've watched anything of either of those. :3

The only series I've re-watched are Puella Magi Madoka Magica,
Kuroshitsuji, Gravitation and Trinity Blood. But I'm planning on
re-watching Poyo Poyo Kansatsu Nikki. Cutest anime ever! <3
52episodes that are barely 2-3min long! It's totally adorable! <3
Me and my boyfriend started watching it for fun but we ended up loving it!
