Hi, thanks for checking in on our second instalment of RPG Heroes, a painting contest with a twist. Instead of whole squads and vehicles RPGH is all about the minis we use in our roleplaying games. You can enter a mini representing you as the Player Character (PC) from any RPG, be it one of the 40k RPG's (Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, Death Watch, Black Crusade or Only War), Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Pathfinder, Shadowrun or any other official RPG out there. Mega bonus points will be thrown in for providing a character sheet.
If uncertain about the nature of your entry, or have questions in general not handled by our "professionally" written FAQ, feel free to ask!
The contest will run from the 18th of January until the 28th of February.
Rules
1. Each entry must be accompanied by a piece of paper with your Gaia screen name written on it in handwriting. This is so we know that the model is actually yours and that you are not some creepy robot trying to cash in on our delicious gold. While we have made exceptions in the past this has led to a lowering of standards, as such: Failure to comply will result in no gold for you and we may suspect you of being a robot.
2. Unlike the other contests we usually run, entries are limited to one per participant.
3. Please try to take pictures that are crisp, clear and can show off the detail nicely. We are not asking for top-class quality pictures here, but images that are fuzzy and are out of focus will be hard to judge, if at all.
4. Finished entries must be posted in this thread. Do not PM your entry to me, instead you are to post it here, in this thread.
5. No pre-painted miniatures allowed. This is a show of personal skill.
6. Minis that have partaken in a previous contest are not allowed to enter a second time.

FAQ
Q. Who are the judges?
A. That would be Lady Blodwynn (me) and if she can be bribed into letting go of her busy schedule for a few moments, the always lovely and dependable miss Vikki Keeler.
Q. What will you be looking for in an entry?
A. A myriad of things really. Personally I look at the quality of the painting, but I also keep an eye out for neat conversions and how it all goes together. The other judge.. She might not be as technical, but she has her own set of criteria and preferences to base her judgements on.
Q. Why can't I repost an entry I used for a previous contest?

Q. Why can't I really repost a previously used entry?!
A. Throwing things at the wall and hoping that it sticks is not how we do things around here. We also have a strong dislike for the minimal effort crowd. If you want to win our delicious gold, you will have to work for it. emotion_donotwant
Q. Why do you hand out bonus points for character sheets?
A. Hold it! Not just any bonus points, but mega bonus points. We also hope that this will prevent people from just picking a random mini from their collection and calling it done! While it is a poor security, we do hope that people put some actual effort into things.

- Have once been in connection with the Rogue Trader ship "Faithful Egoist"
that he now is traveling in.
- Stand crying among the dead bodies, reapeting the mantra; Omnissiah, Save Me".
- Knows the secrets of making the sacred Dataslates.
- On the ship he travels, a servitor regonices me by always saluting,
a memory of a guardsman screaming for mercy
to avoid his punishment of becoming a servitor,
the same one that is now saluting me
- Tied up to an operating table againts my will,
unknown figure in the background speaks;
You will be free of your burden of Sin
- Walking towards an unregonisable but important destination,
a younger renegade Psycher, Lady Melcharta (enemy NPC(?) we encountered),
speaks with me about something in very agitated state
- I´ve constructed unsanctioned Cherubs??
Melcharta whispers next to me; is this not considered as Heresy againt Mankind?
- I have experienced the violent mutation of my own flesh
- I am responsible for Melcharta´s current state,
cut a piece of her head in result of her now possesing an bionics in my "past"
- A surgical cutting tool in my hand, turned on and intentionally using it to open my own skull
- Floating in a containment-vat filled with unknown green liqued,
a strange looking creature (genestealer) resting on a similar tank next to mine.
A group of Techpriests inspecting me, the glass breaking.
- In a large city made out of bones and skin,
I have an conversation with an suspisious and slimey xenos creature,
who nods to me, my words unknown to me.
- I see a group picture of me with 3 other individuals,
resulting a flashback of a changes from their past-selfs to their current-selfs;
- An guardsman eyes grow black, all blood flows from his
body, screams of acony echoes thru my mind,
slowly spawning machine parts as wires bursts from it´s body,
eventually changes into a servitor,
the same one that always saluted towards me...
- Young female psychers clothing slowly rots away to another set of clothings,
her hair growing longer as her appearance grows older,
eventually changes to Melcharta...
- An Adept grows older rabitly, gazes deeply into my soul and speaks;
the Imperium still needs you... He seems somehow familiar....
- I myself breaking like glass in front of my own eyes.
- I stand in a very dark location among rusted machine parts around me while
a young lad standing in front of me,
a burnmark shining upon his forehead (a mechanicus symbol-ish,
with the exception of a machine-part-side it is mutated-side.
The lad grows older untill it stops,
now as the same person that lead the mutant-assault to our lord´s
hiding place,
bowing towards me respectfully and walks away into the darkness.
This man creeted me as his old mentor??
