I don't know it just seems like now and days with Xnas speicals they always make santa look like an idiot.

And yet you got these movies and specials where Santa doesn't have a damn clue about someone being bad or naughty.
Some examples:
Powerpuff Girls: Twas the fight before Xmas. That princess girl goes to his workshop and see that she is the only one on his naughty list and simply changes it so she is the only one on his nice list and santa just bends over backwards until he see right in front of his face that she is a b***h!
The new Spongebob Xmas episode computer animated- Plankton says that Santa has seen all of his misdeeds and that is why he gets coal every year. BUT!!! Plankton makes fruitcake laced with jerk-tonium and feeds it to Spongebob who isn't affected and Spongebob gives it to everyone else not knowing about the jerk-tonium. While Plankton makes a robot looking like Spongebob to ruin his sweet, naive, innocent reputation. Then Santa comes and says everyone but Plankton is on the naughty list and says to Spongebob that he was the naughtiest of all and then points to the robot causing chaos and it isn't until the real Spongebob saves him, that he actually gets it!
Olive the other Reindeer- Classic! The evil mailman writes mean letters and sends them to Santa and Santa's dumb self decides to cancel Xmas.
Santa doesn't see s**t! And he doesn't know s**t either! But I guess people decide to make them like that because Santa actually knowing and seeing the bad things would ruin the plot so it's best to make him look like a dumbass and eat the crap rude people feed him. Yeah because cookies and milk are overrated.
