On November 20th, I had my ear lobes scalpelled to correct placement. While I was under the knife, I also decided to make my lobes a bit larger. :0) I was sitting at an 8mm when I went in for the procedure, and I am now at 1/2" (approx 12.5mm).

Anyway, today I took the o-ring off of the jewellery in my right ear (the o-rings are what holds the jewellery in place) because it was super crusty. I was in the middle of cleaning the o-ring when, suddenly, my plug launched out of my ear. I have nothing blocking my drain so I had to do a mad scramble and block it with my hand haha. That was SO close. O.O

My ear is looking pretty good, but I think it still has quite a ways to go before it is healed completely.

Eep, sounds like one interesting procedure. Do they use like excess skin from somewhere else to enlarge your lobes? How does that work? I hope you a quick recovery!

Nope. :0) He just used a scalpel to re-direct the holes I already had. He removed a tiny bit of skin to control which direction the pressure in my lobes was gonna go, but it wasn't even enough to take a picture of haha. I'll show you a before and after of my lobes!

You can tell by looking that they're still healing. I'm on day 26 of healing now. smile It'll take 6 to 8 weeks for them to be fully healed.

Oh! I understand better now ^^ hurray for visuals!

Nice jewelery! Yeah they are still puffy and they look a bit tender sweatdrop Is it hard to sleep? I was never able to keep my ears pierced because I couldn't help laying on my ears when I slept. I tried four times thorough my life! I really wanted something like yours but its just not happening for me-- just can't help sleeping on my sides smile
