What is your favorite food combo to eat when you're feeling a bit low or just in the mood to splurge on yourself? Kitten's is actually rather simple to be called decadent, but she really thinks it's one of the best combinations ever! Strawberries with Non-Fat Whipped Cream and just a tinsy-tiny bit of granulated sugar. It's absolutely divine ~ emotion_bigheart

When I feel sad and low, I grab myself some curly fries. Salty, yet savory. emotion_bigheart

They are yummy! Do you have a specific place you just have to get them from? I love the ones at Carl's Jr. (Hardee's on East coast)

I actually do not think I have ever tried them from Jack in the Box. I have one right down the street from me, so I might have to get some later today! cat_smile

I understand what you mean! Junk food always makes me feel worse, even if I'm in a good mood. I can only eat a little bit at a time or it just messes up my entire day.
Ooo and I love chicken salad! Do you make your own or do you have a favorite place to get it? I learned to make it from scratch at the nursing home I worked at. Super tasty! emotion_bigheart
My husband and I like to make our own. :3 We like to grill the chicken then add the lettuce. With dressing and shredded cheese. >w< It tastes so awesome ! :3

Neat! I put celery in mine most of the time for an extra crunch. *nods* cat_smile

Ooo what kind of cookies do you like? I adore chocolate chip! Though sugar cookies are good and so are peanut butter... I just love them all! Though I don't eat them very often.

Russian Tea Cakes. OuO
They are buttery and sweet, my favorite flavor combination. Let's face it: everything tastes better with butter. xD They are crunchy on the outside yet soft in the inside, my favorite consistency when it comes to cookies.
I bake them without the nuts because I'm still uncertain about an allergy reaction but don't wanna risk testing to find out if I do. xD

Do you have a recipe for them? I just adore baking and might have to try these out soon. Just so many yummy suggestions today! emotion_bigheart

Baking is so much fun! OuO And these are so easy to make... and devour!
I use the recipe from this site. Here's the recipe without having to click the link:
Ingredients 1 1/2 cups of unsalted butter, room temperature 3/4 cup of powdered sugar 1 1/2 cups of ground almonds 5 teaspoons vanilla extract 3 cups of sifted all purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/3 cup of powdered sugar for rolling
Method 1. Preheat the oven to 325˚
2. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the butter and then slowly add the powdered sugar and salt. Beat until light and fluffy.
3. Add the almonds and vanilla extract.
4. Next add the flour and beat until well combined.
5. Shape into balls using your hands or a round dough scoop. I like to use a scoop so all the cookies come out the same.
6. Place the cookies on an ungreased baking sheet and bake until done, about 15-20 minutes.
7. Let them cool on the sheet about 6-7 minutes so they are just cool enough to handle and then roll each cookie in powdered sugar. If you want until they are completely cool the sugar won’t stick to them.
