I don't think that anybody should ever be against it. We all should have the right to choose who we love. For those who are against it, it would make no sense since it doesn't directly effect them in any way.
I honestly feel that people should become more open minded and stop being so judgmental. emotion_dowant

For! Theres a huge massive debate going on in England at the moment rolleyes about wether gay marriage should be allowed as a posed to the current "civil partnership" the church is in a massive faf buuut They choose not to marry Divorcee's etc but no ones sees that as discriminative. it's in the law's that their supposed to marry any consenting adults in their parish. they are being offerd the same choice to opt out of marrying homosexuals as they get with divorcee's etc on the grounds that its the same moral objection. Which it is really. But theres still a massive fight going on. But we don't get a vote on it rolleyes

♥ For~! Love is love no matter who it's with. Besides it's between the two people involved and no one else. Let them love and marry who they want to.

In all honesty, I'm not sure. My stand is that I don't care how you live your life. If you want to be married to someone of the same sex as you are, then it's your choice. I don't mind if you're gay or whatever, as long as you don't force me to bend my ways to suit yours. Maybe I am for gay marriage. It's high time we give them the respect that they deserve. I mean, they are, first and foremost, humans and they have as much rights here on Earth as do straight people.

I'm tired of people being treated like second class citizens because the love they found isn't supported by the government. It's not like the ban on gay marriage makes us go away. I've never let society set the standards or determine how I live my life and I sure as hell don't need to justify who I love to anyone.

I believe marriage should be considered a business contract between two (or more) people where the government is concerned. People live together without being married no matter what their sexual orientation, so anyone who wants the legal and financial advantages of marriage should be free and able to enter that contract. If a third or fourth party is willing to join, why not?
I'm leaving religion out of this because I don't like anyone's beliefs being imposed on anyone else for any reason.

I'm for gay marriage, all the way.
So you're not gay? That's cool too. Just mind your own ******** business.
= n = Seriously fed up with these religious nutheads.
All love is beautiful. No one has the right to judge anyone else's relationships because of their sexuality/gender identity.

I think its both sad and hilarious that a man and woman who HATE each other, barely know each other, or never even met can get married over a gay couple that loves each other and have a wonderful harmonious relationship. Goes to show you the priorities of the world! rolleyes

I'm not actively for it, but I don't really understand how people can be against it, either. It doesn't concern anyone apart from the two people involved. It's not like they're going around murdering babies or anything, so why do so many people freak out about it? And if you are one of those people that's against it, it's not like if it's legalized all over that you have to turn gay or anything. I don't really advocate for homosexuality, but I'm also not going to hate on someone just because they're gay. Also, I know that you can't help who you fall in love with, so why torment those who have found love with someone of their same gender?

If someone is honestly fighting that hard for something- just give it to them. I don't honestly see where the problem is, why the people say no- because religious views. But, if I'm not mistaken the Untied States has a separation of Church & State. Therefore, no one should be against it.
Sometimes, they gay parents make much better parents then the straight ones. I mean- think of the kids that get abused, wouldn't you rather they have two dads or two moms then have to put up with abuse? I know, I would.
