They retain their close cousins' sense of loss and disarray xand are usually considered dim-witted and slow. xPersonality; xSohpie is awkward when it comes to meeting new people creeple. She has a habit of looking at the ground and fiddling with the hem of her shirt or the bandages xon her arm. She'll speak softly, usually giving mumbled, one worded answers. However, once Sophie is comfortable around someone and considers them her xfriend, she's a completely different person. She's loud and outgoing, always telling jokes and stories and trying to keep the party alive (haha). She's easy to talk xto and finds it easier to talk and open up to others once she trusts them. She's also fiercely loyal to her friends and family. Anyone who does anything to hurt xthose close to her becomes dead in Sophie's eyes. Don't mess with them, okay? Seriously.
xIt's not hard to become Sophie's friend. Constantly talk to her, be nice and hang around and eventually she'll bloom like a beautiful flower. Those who share xcommon interests with her; i.e. fashion, are more likely to get her to open up instantly. In fact, she's likely to chatter on instantly before she even realises she's xmet someone new.
xSophie doesn't like conflict. If someone's done something to annoy her or make them hate her, she'll just ignore them rather than confronting them or retaliating. xShe just doesn't think they're worth the time and energy that she could spend doing something else. But, if someone continually harassed her, her friends or her xfamily, she's likely to explode in a fit of rage.
xIn her human life, though she doesn't remember it, Sophie was an intern for a designer. She retained her passion for fashion and through this, she discovered xshe was actually really good at designing and making her own clothing; something she does as a hobby all the time. When it comes to schoolwork, Sophie's xattention seems to differ depending on the classes. Medical based classes she loves. Anything hands-on she can thrive in. What she has trouble with is sitting xdown and learning theory. Or sitting down and writing essays. She'll do them, of course, but she'll leave it to the last minute and not always produce the best work. ✂. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

xHistory; xSophie died in the human world and was reborn as a zombie in Halloween Town. She doesn't know the circumstances surrounding her re-animation; partly xbecause she doesn't remember and partly because she just doesn't care. Because of her young age, Sophie was put in the system. She didn't have parents, xnext of kin, guardians, godparents. Nothing. So she lived in an orphanage. For years. Or maybe it was just one. She never really kept track. Much to her surprise xhowever, she was finally adopted. This came as a big shock to Sophie. Not because she was getting a family but because she had spent so long watching child xafter child get adopted while she stayed that she had simply assumed she was stuck at the orphanage until she was old enough for them to legally kick her out.
xAnd so she became a member of the Van Rotte family. A month and a half later, she was whisked off to the Academy to meet her brother and to experience as xmuch of life death as she possibly could so she could share stories with her family. ✂. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Due to their reanimated nature, x zombies posses a degree of physical strength that doesn't necessarily match their body or build. xY2 - Death Grip; Sophie is able to hold onto those that are 1.5 times her size and hold them in place for a period of time. ✂. ------------------------------------
══Fᴇᴀʀ Aʙɪʟɪᴛɪᴇs═════════════════ xTier 1 - The Bite; Sophie channels her FEAR into her teeth and, when she bites her enemies, she drains their FEAR and restores xher own. xTier 2 - The Chill;; Sophie is able to place some of her FEAR into the bandages she carries. When used on herself or other students, xthey restore health. ✂. ------------------------------------

══Minipets------------------------ ══ ══Franklin:Sophie's first minipet; her mother gave her to him when she was settled in so that she wouldn't get lonely. Sophie adores him and has trained him to do all sorts of things. He often sleeps on her bed. ══Susan:Susan was the first pet Sophie bought herself. While shopping - Franklin in toe, as he always was - she saw Susan in the window. Apparently, so did Franklin and the two have been inseperable ever since. ══Pom: It's unknown when the Pom started following Sophie around. He's not really a pet so much as he's just.. there. Prone to disappearing more than he's prone to showing affection. Still, Sophie's grown fond of ══him and leaves food and a warm bed for when he makes an appearance.
