What is your favorite anime/manga genre?

Personally I like shoujo, drama, and comedy , especially yaoi/shounen-ai yum_puddi

I read a lot of shounen, tragedy, mecha, slice of life, and BL.

For some reasons, I like to watch and read those with the theme of mecha, slice of life, mystery and adventure. I also prefer to watch anime adaptations of some video games.

➜➜➜➜ I'm a sucker for BL - it's just so adorable!~ But I also love manga's like Death Note [although I didn't think the anime was as good] and Kuroko No Basket. My favourite anime's would have to be Durarara, Naruto [I know xD], Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Ouran High School Host Club <3 But my favourite is probably Soul Eater because it's just so addictive! I also love those Japanese style films but I'm not sure if they're classed as anime. Ya know, Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away?

I tend to like horror, supernatural stories. Things that are more karmically centered. (Hell girl/Jigoku Shoujo or Another). I also like stories that tend to be one shots if I'm reading something a bit more light hearted. Or reading stories where I don't specifically need to start from the beginning to understand what's going on like Azu manga daioh.

I have my preferences, of course, but sincerely I don't really care about the genre. If the characters are charming and the plot is good... what does it matter what kind of genre is?

Hmmm... of those, I tend to gravitate more towards shoujo. And drama. And comedy. And yuri. And sometimes some cute BL. And of the genres not listed, I tend to like seinen and romance. And slice-of-life and/or school stories. So I guess I like a lot of stuff. sweatdrop

Hm, well in all honesty I don't mind the genres so long as the storyline is good. But what I tend to read/watch is always Shounen, sometimes it'll be shoujo/drama/ or sometimes it'll be yaoi/yuri. Whatever peeks my interest the most I'll read or watch. Either or but I really watch and read alot of Shounen, mostly. emotion_yatta

and Devil May Cry. Togainu no Chi. Castlevania.
Last three are based of off games. :3

ever in my life read are romantic, cute and
