Today is not a holiday
Today is a black, black day
Today is a day that has screwed me up infinitesimally
You'll never know how much

Today is the day I dread
Today is a black, black day
Today is a day that changed my life forever
The day with a dark, dark touch

Today is the day my mother died
People love it
Its so great there is candy and there is cake
Hurrah for for ******** Halloween

Today is the day my world fell down
I don't love it
Its not great despite the candy and the ******** OFF ******** HALLOWEEN....



And just for the record I don't care if this poem sucks or not I just ******** want to scream right now...so yea...venting with retarded poetry hurrah... -_-

I like the symmetry in the first few lines, and how it dissolves in the raw emotion in the last few. I like how you clearly set the very strong emotional tone by doing that.
