There are a variety of hand painted signs in the area, either with his demon mark, which he calls merely the symbol, leading the way to an area that he is often found at.
He also is a creature of shadow: if students should seek him out-- it is very possible that he is watching you.
If he has bequeathed his symbol unto you, a Ⓧ scratched onto a simple token, you will have more luck seeking him out.

Faction - Race Demon - Slenderman - 7-10 foot tall humanoid, clad in a suit and tie, with arms and legs that shift in length, straying towards 'far too long.' Their powers lend towards the manipulation and embodiment of shadows. In fact, if you cut one, it does not bleed traditionally. Instead, out seeps a smoky black fog.
Natural Ability: Slender Walk - X's shape changes into that of a two dimensional shadow, which lets him blend into the nearby dark, able to slide from one shadow to the next. After emerging from the shadows, there are sometimes vestigial tentacle shadows behind him.
Personality: X is always watching, observing, and learning the creatures around him, human or of Halloween. He tends to exude creepy, unsettling, and...something that's just wrong. Attempts to speak with him in a normal conversation often fall completely and utterly flat. He does not mince words, and will often cease speaking to you if he finds the conversation to be fruitless.
He believes that there is a path for every individual to walk upon, and in order for society to follow in the footsteps of greatness, individuals must sometimes make sacrifices.
X is a veritable wealth of information regarding human behaviour, thanks to the time he has spent researching and monitoring their habits. He has spent much time in the human world, learning their ways, and what makes them tick. But, nothing is free...let alone the powerful gift of knowledge.
What do they do at Amityville Academy?: X serves as a substitute teacher for any teacher that may require him. Outside of his traditional duties at Amityville, he can often be found play elaborate games of hide and seek with students, rewarding them if they manage to find him.
For the most part, X wanders around the school grounds, notably the Forbidden Forest, unofficially keeping his eye on students from the shadows.
FEAR: Tainted Fang: Shadowed Affliction - X's presence can sometimes be toxic. Spend too long around him, and you might find yourself with a nose bleed and various aches and pains.
Headlights: Proxy Manipulation - X's already long arms extend further, his hands reaching out to the target. The target, if swayed, falls into a hypnotized state, frozen in motion. It's possible to resist both the mental and the physical portions of this, depending on the strength of the target. As he does this, shadow tentacles unfurl from behind him.
