I lead him in the juice store and smile at him. "Order what you like... I am paying.." I say to him pulling out my coin purse and showing him.

Haraku looked at her a moment.
"... um... thank you..." He said,
turning to the man behind the
counter and ordering a strawberry
smoothie, his favorite fruit.

I nod at him. I then order when he was done a strawberry banana smoothie my favorite combination of fruit. The man nods and makes them. "Okay that will be $2.46.." he says to us. I take my smoothie and pay him. I then walk over to a table and start to sip my smoothie.

Haraku followed her to the table, feeling a
bit nervous being in a public area, since
people often ridiculed him for the way he
looked and how small he was. But he was
sort of relieved that Alyssa hadn't asked
if he was a boy or a girl and didn't make
fun of him like the others. He sipped his
smoothie, looking down at the table as he did.

I see him looking down. "I don't understand why people call you a nice man a girl because to me you look like a true man.." I say to him smiling hoping that I didn't hurt his feelings right now. "I mean really that is just stupid how people judge people on how they look.. to me its all about what is on the inside.." I say to him going back to sipping my smoothie.

Haraku looked at her and blinked a few times
oddly, wondering if she could tell what he had
been thinking, and nodded once in repsonse.
"... I... have to admit... I am more... feminine... than most boys..."
He said quietly, looking back down.

I smile at him. "Well that doesn't bother me.. that makes you unique." I say to him sipping on my smoothie again.

Haraku looked at her another moment,
then gave the slightest bit of a smile
you would ever see. It wasn't much like
a smile, but you could tell he was happy,
even if only the slightest bit.
"... I'm... glad to hear that..." He said, going
back to sipping his smoothie as well.

I could tell he was happy so that made me happy. I then continued to drink my smoothie and let him ask questions now if he wanted to.

table to look at her once more.
"... May... I ask you something...?" He asked.

I look up from my smoothie. "Hm? Oh yeah go ahead.." I say to him rubbing the side of my head because of brain freeze...

eye contact with her.

I look at him. "Because I used to be in your shoes too.." I say to him. I look back down at my smoothie and start to break it up with my straw.

Haraku looked on at her a moment more,
something appearing in his purple eyes,
showing like a dark and hidden emotion
or an un-readable twist. He looked back
down at the table before him.
"... How do you think....?" He asked softly,
ears still folded back and tail hidden.
