I'm bored, so I'm starting Alchemy from the ground up.

Hello, TRG! I saw this thread, and I thought hey? What better time than now to try out Alchemy without anything to start with other than the 27k I already had, my zOMG rings (Which I'll use to farm gold, orbs, and loot) and my post count and Achievements (Which don't really help other than I got the Tycoon achievement to give me 10+ Market slots).

So today, I'm going for Amigo Taco. The Amigo Pants sound pretty darn easy to get, it's only 50, and if I wanted to I could just spam the crap out of Global Imports to get 'em. It's the 10 Salts that I'm after, so instead of whining that they're about 100k each I'm going to make Caches and hope I get the Aquamarine Cache! After that I'm not sure if you pick the component you need or if the component you get is also a random chance deal. You pick it. That's good to know.

Honestly, looking at it from this perspective, I hate that it's all about chance, chance, chance, but so far it seems like a pretty enjoyable long-term goal.

I honestly have literally no understanding of what Alchemy is on Gaia.

This thread is so old and so er...far behind my progress in Alchemy,
how many pages did you have to dig back to actually find it?

(If it was on the front page still I'd have to have a good chuckle at that)
Anyway, it's not that hard to understand, anyone that was old enough to sign up for Gaia
should be able to understand it with a little reading and thinking.
It literally gives you your first formula pack free and teaches you how to make things,
unless you sold the starter pack already.
