Astra was on the patrol for more hunters, after her last encounter had gone pretty well all things considered. She had taken one on, head to head, and had had managed to defeat it. That was a very good thing, s she never considered herself much of a fighter. But, if she could defeat them all...

She could save all of halloween!

Yes, she would defend amityville from the hutner scourge, all by herself!

The fairy put on a determined face as she marched through the dark corridors, looking for her next encounter and ready to make them go home crying!

Syd was doing patrol. She had mixed feelings about patrol, but none of them stopped her from walking silently as she could, her crossbow up and ready to shoot the first thing that appeared. Would she run into the siren again? Or would she meet someone else--someone more dangerous?

She took another step, inwardly cursing as the wooden plank whined under her foot. This place, she thought with a scowl, really should have fallen into dust long ago.

Wait, she thought as she looked around. She knew this room. It was the same room she and Isra had sparred in--"Oh crap," she whispered. You couldn't miss in this room. At least that's how it seemed then. Maybe she could get out of it before she ran into someone--

Nope, too late, the fairy had spied Sydney before she could make her get away

"Aha! I've found you!" Astra said, pointing her finger dramatically at the hunter. "You shouldn't have come here, because now you have to face me!"

Yes, because fighting a fairy that was half you size was clearly a intimidating presence, but she would ignore this fact for now and made a pretense of glowering (or pouting, whichever was more appropriate), at sydney.

It was a... three foot tall, big talking fairy. Syd stared at her for a second, wondering if shooting something from a fairy tale was worth getting paid for. "I see," she said. "Then I'll face you," she said simply, bringing up Izy and shooting the fairy... creature.

The arrow slammed directly into the fairy girl's chest and Sydney almost groaned. Yep, she'd been right. This was the no missing room.

Izy snapped.

But no, she had to have acted tough, and now she had a big dent in her FEAR shield to boot. Astra was not a happy fairy.

"T-that was just a lucky shot!" She said, throwing a series of sharp edged leaves at the hunter.

"I'm afraid it wasn't," Syd told her flatly. "This room keeps you from missing, for some reason." To prove her point, those leaves that should have never made it took a slice out of her FEAR shield.

She brought up her crossbow, and shot the fairy again.

That was...odd. She could see her lousy shot had made contact, so it appeared what the hunter was saying was true...

Although this was not a good thing, as the crossbow had already taken a huge chunk out of Astra's shield. She was a good aim.

"F-fine then, it doesn't matter!" Astra bluffed, firing another set of leaves that found their mark.

"If that's how you feel," Syd said, flatly. She brought up her crossbow, and shot the fairy girl again. It wasn't as if she LIKED her, or anything. She just thought she was cute. Really, how was this little thing from a land of nightmares?

Cute as though Astra appeared, She was looking a little disheveled. Not only was her shield about to break, but she was just not doing very well at the whole 'aiming' thing today. And having a bad day in front of a hunter was a very bad thing indeed.

Alright, it was time to bring out the big guns!

The fae's eyes glowed brightly as she held out her hands towards Sydney, a swirling mist of purple energy building up between then as she powered up her attack. If she could land this one, it would buy her time, and she could finish off the hunter!

However, as she launched her attack, it seemed that the 'never miss' room, did make allowances. Such as for desperate last minutes attacks. She saw her energy beginning to dissipate, even before it reached Sydney.

When the arrow hit the FEAR shield, this time it didn't just stop. It tore through the barrier, even going so far as to embed itself in Astra's side. The force of the attack sent her flying backwards, sliding down the wall and even leaving a small trail of blood on the wall

"..." Astra didn't say a thing, as she numbly placed her hands on the spot were the arrow had struck her. Blood was already pooling in the spot, leaking onto the floor and staining her dress. It was not a fatal shot, but it left her feeling dizzy and disoriented. Within moments, her eyes had closed, and she collapsed on the floor as her mind sunk into darkness.

"No," Syd said. "We'll leave her." She wasn't sure that was the right thing to do, but honestly, what would they want with tinkerbell anyway? She reached up, grabbed her pendant, and disappeared with a whispered word.
