Welcome to the Portkey Assignment Area!
Been wondering how you were gonna get to Japan, eh? Well, there aren't many fireplaces where we're meetin' so floo travel is out, not any tracks either so we can't take you lot by train, so it looks like we'll be sticking you to pieces of rubbish and hurling you across the continent.
You'll be traveling in groups, but there was uh- a bit of a snag as far as the details go.. But don't bother with yourself with that just yet, just -uh, make sure you've got your toiletries, muggle clothing, everything you'll need for a lengthy camping trip, and I'll tell you the specifics once you're ready.

How to Find YOUR Portkey! ==> They need to project a number of some sort to find out to which group they belong, (maybe for each person that gets assigned to a group, then a line of the riddle for where they can find their portkey will be released? At least until the riddle is complete... ? we could have a deadline where if there weren't that many members assigned to a key that we'll release the whole thing so that the group has a fair chance of finding their portkey... ). Rest of the how to tells them that their portkey has been left in some area of the guild, it's up to them to work together to figure out where their portkey is... ((RULE Do not tell people from another group where their portkey is if you stumble upon it or actually find it using the riddle. If you do so.... (removal of points? exclusion from something? Bad Juju!) )) the member that finds the portkey and the code that is posted with it, copies that and "brings" their portkey back to this neutral area and will be awarded extra points for their house (though, everyone receives points for this, they just get extra), or perhaps for the elf cup (if I decide to have another one... ), then they can talk amongst themselves and Erik will post that their item is "glowing" then they must touch their portkey to make the trip to the campgrounds. Everyone who successfully touches the Portkey and makes the trip to the camp grounds gets points....
Project a random number between 1 and 100, this will tell you which portkey group you've been assigned to.
1 - 25: Crimson Group (Portkey 1) 26 - 50: Royal Blue Group (Portkey 2) 51-75: Grey Group (Portkey 3) 76 - 100: Orange Group (Portkey 4)
These portkeys were set up by the Ministry of Magic, and as per tradition, they -er forgot to tell us exactly where they left the portkeys exactly. Because of their typical innefficiency, it's gonna take more than one of you to find the grubby little things. For each person who gets assigned to a group we'll release a line of the riddle that will help you find the portkey for your group.
There are four lines for each riddle, when a group unlocks all 4 lines (by accumulating four group members) each person in that group will receive +10pts for their house (or for the House Elf Cup).
You are to work together with the members of your group to figure out where you're portkey is hidden.
The portkey will be on any page of any topic in any forum (that's why the riddle helps), it will be a picture within a post accompanied by a code. When you find the portkey, copy the code and post it here to this topic to share it with your group!
When your group has found its portkey and brought it back here, then each member will receive +25 House Points (Or Elf Cup Points)!
If your group doesn't accumulate at least four people, we will release the entire riddle no later than 4 days before your portkey is due to er--jump.
1-Touch-Travel
Lastly, in order to actually travel via the portkey, you've got to touch it before it jumps ship. So, 48hrs prior to your portkey's departure time, I'll post in a shout post that you're portkey is "Glowing!" You'll then have 48hrs to hurry quick and "touch" your portkey.
To "Hop On" means that you've successfully touched your portkey in time, and doing so earns you're house +20 House Points (Or Elf Cup Points)!
If you're group hasn't found its portkey before it's due to glow, then I will bring it here, and your group will simply miss out on that opportunity for points.
And if you miss your portkey... you're on your own you nasty little buggers, and I hope for your sake that your broom is fast!
