The Modest Jewelcrafter ProfileName: Pich Nicknames: None yet Origin & Pronunciation: PihCH Khmer for 'diamond' Gender: Male Age: Appears young, late teens Height: 5'8" Orientation: Unsure Status: Single Current Residence: The reserve
Original Clan: Death
Job Role: Jewelcrafter Jewelcrafters have the unique capability of manipulating Fear-imbued gemstones and matter and giving them a stronger power. They also are well versed in metal smithing and weapon crafting, combining their abilities together to create strong Fear-powered weapons, tokens of blessings, and specifically, accessories, Omens, that empower various areas of Fear.
Personality: Pich is shaken by the loss of so many friends and family members, as well as much of his culture. While he does not yet know many of the survivors, especially those from the other clans, he considers their shared survival a sort of bond, and as such wishes to do what he can to aid the community as a whole. He is content to stay in the background, doing the basic but no less necessary tasks that he is best suited for, mostly involving metalworking. Whether making decorations to lift peoples spirits, and make this new place feel a bit more like home, or making simple nails for building, he feels a sense of peace knowing he is accomplishing something useful.
Humble - Pich was a relatively junior Jewelcrafter, and is not yet confident in his skills, for the most part. He wears most of his work beneath his clothing, if he wears it at all. The main exception is his work in scale-mail, which he wears proudly. He also does not feel himself above any task, no matter how menial, if he is the best suited to the task and it needs doing.
Quiet - Not to be mistaken with shy. If he has something to say, he has no problem whatsoever saying it. He just doesn't feel the need to make noise for its own sake. He tends to speak quietly, forcing those around him to be quiet as well if they wish to hear him rather than trying to talk over them. He rarely raises his voice unless there is danger or he is very angry indeed.
Elitist - This is not to say that he actually thinks any specific type of person is better than any other. Rather, he will always chose his own people - friends, family, anyone he shares some bond with - over a stranger. But who he considers 'his people' can be an eclectic choice, people from any clan or social caste, or even outside the clans altogether. However, he hates the Hunters for what they did to his people, and will never consider one of them 'his.'
Mini Pet Lover - Pich loves cute, furry predators. Such creatures, unfortunately, are entirely capable of sensing death on him, and as such tend to react with either fear or aggression. He is not discouraged, however, and keeps trying! Perhaps some day he'll meet one that can see past his aura of death to the basically gentle soul beneath. Or maybe one with an atrophied sense of self preservation. He spends so much time observing mini pets, sometimes behaviors he has picked up from them enter his own repertoire when he has to deal with other clan members. He uses a lot more body language than is normal, sometimes in place of verbal language. A toothy grin makes him uncomfortable, even if he knows it is not meant as a show of threat. Occasionally you may even hear a growl, bark, chirp, or other odd sound pass his lips. He is also particularly good at reading others' body language and tone, though horrible at the subtleties of language.
Recluse - Pich spends so much time trying to make nice with vicious little balls of fluff that his socialization skills are a bit atrophied, even among his kind. The death of most of his friends and family has only heightened this trait in him, and now he much prefers being with mini pets to his own kind. In general, he would much rather do his job quietly in the background and be ignored, or at least minimize direct interaction, then disappear off to somewhere quiet. Though, he remembers seeing a few mini pet-ish students visiting his isle... before. Maybe, when things are more settled and he has time, he will go see if he can find them...
Open Book - Due to a Jewelcrafting effort gone wrong, Pich has odd green 'wings' of FEAR leaking from his sides and just over his eyes. They don't do anything useful, but they can be handy for reading his moods. When he is excited, scared, or angry his wings flare brighter with the excess energy he is giving off. When he is feeling particularly depressed, tired, or apathetic they can dim or even disappear entirely. He can exert some conscious control over this, just like one can control ones expressions with effort and if not taken by surprise, but it is harder to control than his expressions and takes much conscious effort.
Hobbies:
Scale-mail - Ok, so it's kind of part of his job, as metalworking is part of Jewelcrafting. But he has a special love of scale- and other chainmails, and it is the only part of his art that he feels truly confident in.
Braiding - Related to his work, but he likes braiding a lot more than just metal. He enjoys braiding string, hair, and even plants. Before his home was destroyed, he had a number of smallish plants that he had braided in intricate patterns as they grew, and he sorely misses them.
Physical Description: Eye Colour: Aqua, slit pupils like a cat Hair Colour/Style: Silver, straight, slightly longer in front, with uneven bangs. Skin Colour: Tan Clothing Style/Colours: Black, loose-wrapped clothes, gathered at wrist and ankle. Scale-mail covering his back and lower legs. A bit of decorative scale-mail on his head. Extra: Lovely green FEAR 'wings' from his sides and over his eyes.

Little Bit Stronger Fear AttributesMount Form: Nebi, a ghostly leopard that appears to be made of whispy spiderwebs. If you look closely, you think you might just see its skeleton through the delicate form. Its eyes glow faintly blue. Yes, it is an extension of himself. And yes, he named it. Boys have named worse, deal. He's touchy about it.
Weapon Form: A pair of sickle-shaped knives with simple leather-wrapped handles. There is a ring at the base of each handle, and he sometimes uses these to twirl his blades as a form of fidgeting while he's thinking.
FEAR Attack: Moonbeams Dancing on Water - Pich uses his FEAR to subtly move his scale-mail in such a way that it creates hypnotic patterns with the light, hoping to distract his opponent long enough to get behind them for a sneak attack. (Headlights)

Aww, So Cute... Mini PetsP'theh - found while gathering seeds to help the War clan. A piece of home. P'theh managed to somehow survive the destruction of the isles, but it left him scarred inside and out. He is slow to trust anyone but Pich, who he is fiercely loyal to.
Nebi, a pet named after and much resembling his mount. (from TWEWY event, thanks Onnie! Not live on pet site yet)
