Against the daily wear and grind.

Some have ventured for victory

Some have ventured for defeat

Some have ventured to tell their hearts

They will never again be beat.

Some have ventured to be lost

Some have ventured to be found

Some have ventured to have their hopes

Dashed into the ground.

Some have ventured to fight

Some have ventured to die

And some have ventured to learn

You must fall to learn how to fly.

I loved it. I don't know if this was the effect you were going for but I teared up. It struck something deep down, as cliche as it sounds.

Actually I couldn't really tell you what I was going for. I just got struck with this idea out of the blue one day. I guess the overall message was that we all have to step out of our comfort zones for one reason or another. However regardless of the reason if we want to succeed we must first fail. If we don't take risks then we will never make it.
